    Love this. And living in Stoke, this has intrigued me. Watch out for any green bottles with ridges as they used to be used for poisons. Sometimes they were also blue.

    The candle actually looks like something Bromine which is a highly dangerous substance, you crack the glass above it thats what gives it the shape

    At 1:37 that is a telegraph insulator. I collect them, but that is the most common "standard" no1 style. All of those bottles on the surface are modern 1940s or 50s onwards glass sadly, but if you dug down, you'd find older victorian stuff!

    None of these are Victorian, the earliest are 1940s with most being 1960s.
