    Hats off to you! Thank you for this video. I had to cut a circle frame for a large mirror and didn’t want it to be hard. Most of the videos out there just made it seem more complicated then it needed to be. The combination of template and showing the steps made the process a breeze. Actually I bought a spare piece of wood because it seems something inevitably will go wrong with some of the DIY tutorials out there. Came out perfect the first time.
    I also got a small gouge in my work table, but the top is sacrificial so I didn't take any extra steps to try and protect it. It actually makes me happy to see all the paint hazes, nicks and screw holes because it reminds me of the fun I've had making things.

    What a cool, creative and 'do-able' method to use to create a round picture frame!
    I have been putting off making a frame for a round puzzle for a long time, because all of the methods that I've found on TH-cam were just too complicated. With your help, I believe that I will finally get this puzzle up onto the wall. Thanks for sharing this video. I'm so glad that I found you. Stay safe.

    Awesome! Love seeing women doing vids for woodworking (my passion!)
    I plan to build an octagon frame (again) to use as part of a design for my deck lanai - but will one day reference this vid again when I’m ready to make a circle!

    Great video! I used to make frames for my artwork but never a round. I have a 36" diameter mirror I made years ago and now thinking about framing it and putting in bathroom....thanks!

    Very nice and fairly simple. That outside piece would be another nice square frame with a round cutout as well.

    • @TimberTea
      @TimberTea  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      totally! I never thought of that. if I used wider boards, I think I could have got another smaller round frame from the inside pieces too!

    Your piece is just simply stunning!! It is very “group of seven”! I need one!

      Ohhh, I wish I’d seen your idea before I choose to go with super painful miter joints for my frame. Good thinking on the butt joints! So much simpler. Great job. I like your circle jig so I’ll “borrow” your design. Thanks!

    So smart! I'm making a farmhouse style clock out of pallet wood, and I wanted to cover it with chicken wire (for that farmy look lol) Needed a raised border to keep the wire off the hands of the clock, and had no clue how to make it. Now I've got a good idea, thanks very much for sharing! ^_^

    If you do many projects like this it might benefit you to install a couple hooks from your ceiling to hold the cord so you don't have to keep stopping to move it out of the way. Great tutorial though!

    Every time I see this router method on TH-cam I cringe every time the power cord of the router goes near the cutter bit (maybe use a cordless router?). Cool video though.
