The crew requirement/recommendations that the game gives you is VERY generous, you can get by with being severely understaffed as long as you optimize walking distance and roles, for reference I would recommend Aavak he does quite a good job of staff optimization
I've been looking for more creators who play this game. Deck cannons are my favorite weapon so far. I am interested in seeing how someone else will use them. Rail guns are strong but vulnerable and only shoot straight. If you do a redesign, you can put the deck cannons away from the front of the ship they have a pretty wide firing arc, and are technically above your ship just watch out for things like sensors so they don't block line of sight. Disrupters work very well in combination to drop the shields so no cannon shots are wasted on shields. You can make a very defensive ship that flies in and gives them an effective shotgun blast to the face.
@Corgi Circus yeah I have seen your latest videos. You are actually ahead of me as of your current video. I am just now getting into 14-16 areas. Struggling with the Sol faction, I have maximum negative reputation with them, but 2 missions to destroy their bases. The completionist in me won't let me leave the system until I beat them. Taking on a station 2 defending ships plus 7 reinforcements is too much for me right now. I kind of wish I stayed neutral like you did. I started out the gate trying to ally the fringe systems and actively killed all the sol ships and bases, I thought I could flip control of the systems to a different owner, but it seems no matter how many ships I kill I can't change the borders. Unless there is some mechanc I am missing, there isn't really any benefit in doing faction stuff unless you want a challenge.
Okay I am loving this series. I am going through and mimicking your ships because I’m still new. I do have a question though. At one point you have about 330 fame with 132 crew members. In my game I have 440 crew and capped out at 89 crew. What am I missing?
I know the series isn’t doing that well, but please continue the series, it’s really fun to watch
It's doing well enough for something completely different to Territorial.IO so im happy to keep making it!
Well that is great to hear.
Well, this game is getting interesting now.

I'm finding that out theres a lot of number crunching in this game lol
