    **Notification Squad! WHAT do you eat for breakfast? And WHAT YOUR FAVORIT COLOR?!**
    After 5 years I finally caved in and made a “Day in my life video”; from waking up and having a shower, to riding a bullet train and being on Japanese TV. Discover my greatest weakness, what I eat for breakfast every morning, and how awkward and bizarre Japanese award shows are. And most importantly, let's unravel WHAT'S IN THE BOX.

    As I was watching this I was trying to come up with the words to say to you about how charismatic you come across and how much it makes me enjoy your videos. Without sounding creepy. Then you said that you enjoy the creative and editing aspect of TH-cam and only do the presenting because you had no one else to do it. You are a fantastic editor and an equally fantastic presenter. You come across down to earth and funny which is very charismatic. I think you do a great job keep it up. Not everyone becomes successful in TH-cam and I think that’s partly down to their personality. It takes somebody with a very particular personality and charismatic level to excel which you definitely have

    There is just one thing I never quite understand: His videos are clearly well devised, edited into a product which is not only compact, objective and balanced but also extremely fresh, smooth and with wonderful chosen moments of comedy that never feel forced or unecessary.
    Just look at that introduction for a moment, feel how the music feets the way how the sad milk dropping spoon seats in front of our eyes, being the object of focus, before he moves it down in despair and finally eats it.
    His content is full of consciously designed ideas, of care for quality and detail, a consistent interest in adding layers of entertainment that most of us do not even catch, but greatly influence the product. What am I trying to say with all this? Why was I "angry" on the first place? I simply cannot follow his view when he says that he is actually not good at anything. I have seen him refering to this at least two times in some other videos, and I could guess that he is still amazed by his amount of success, but camon.... I have not seen such refined videos on youtube for....maybe as long as I have been watching youtube. So yeh, screw you Chris for not knowing how great your channel is, and if you are reading this, and still have the doubts upon your qualities, I hope to have left some idea of why people enjoy this so much. I know this video is old but here is a good tip, use protein in breakfast, it keeps you full for the day. I lost 6 and a half stone in 2 years by ensuring I had protein in my breakfast and avoiding sugar in things like granola, which isn't healthy, it usually has more sugar than coco pops

    Pokémon GO is actually very alive today (and will probably become even more popular in a few days when ~130 new Pokémon will be added) but since it's not really that well represented in the mainstream media all the people who don't play it assume it's dead. You just have to be at the right place at the right time and look for the right people and suddenly there are people playing everywhere! Even here in Oulu, northern Finland where it's currently around -15° celcius dozens of people still gather together everyday to complete raids together 😄

      Yeah, especially at my college. You don't see them but the gyms are consistently changing. it actually super easy to pull out play with it for less than a minute and resume walking to class.

    I have to admit, I'm really guilty of saying "sick" instead of "cool" >.< Bad habit I picked up while living in California. Loved this format for your above average day in your life heh. Also, didn't know you were left-handed! My wife and best friend are both left-handed as well. Totally funny seeing you and Ryotaro going through Yurakucho under the tracks, I used to shoot a ton of pics there. Grats on the award! Get your revenge on that Iron later! - Victor

      Might be an area thing. For example, back in the late 90's, "the bomb" and "hella" were predominately Norcal things. Being a Socal native, we used sick quite a lot. I've been gone for the past 6 years in Japan, so who knows what is used now. For example, I recently learned that "in a minute" is slang now, which means something like "in a long time". Please correct me if I am mistaken though :) - Victor

    • @aidanschram9652
      @aidanschram9652 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah "hella" is more used in Norcal. I feel like the use of the word "dope" has become more popular than it used to be. And yeah some people will say like "its been a minute since I did this"

    Chris mate, I just want to say, I've been wanting to be an English teacher in Japan for about 3 years now. I'm currently 16 and when I'm around 18 I would love to visit Japan, and just like you probably was, I'm just a normal British boy going about my day to day life. Sometimes I don't really think it's possible for me to be where you are now, and I just give up on learning Japanese, but when I watch your videos, it genuinely inspires me, and I appreciate it. So I just want to say cheers for the videos and I hope I can be where you are one day :) (I'm also left handed)

    I actually lost my shit when you were telling about this country wide desaster and it was a train that left 20 sec early.

    • @zJoriz
      @zJoriz 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's true that the trains run a very tight schedule. And that people are, for lack of a better word, pretty anal about it.
      You may have heard about a deadly train crash 15 years ago at Amagasaki? Allegedly the driver had been reprimanded earlier for overshooting a platform where he was supposed to stop. Some accounts even claim he had to endure a sort of 're-education' camp. The investigators suspect he was running late, and was so afraid of suffering consequences like that again, he took a curve way too fast and derailed the train as a result.
      Not sure if they since changed their policies, but you can see train personnel very visibly implement many safety rules and habits while they're working nowadays.

    Eggs sausages bacons and omelettes are some of the healthiest breakfasts, much healthier and nutritious than oatmeal and syrup! Combine that protein with a workout routine and you’re good to go 👍🏻

    • @RyanTheCreator
      @RyanTheCreator 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you have oatmeal with hemp, chia seeds, frozen fruit (or fresh), oat milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup and some nuts then you have one mighty, powerful breakfast

    • @cristlewrite7944
      @cristlewrite7944 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not to mention, that coffee he is drinking with the oatmeal inhibits any iron absorption, a mineral oats are high in. Oats are higher in protien than most grains, but he could really boost the protien by making it into porridge (put an egg in while the oats are cooking) or even just some natural peanutbutter. I just feel bad for him...that bowl of oats looks so sad😔😂
      Edit: Also those raisans add sugar and if he put the banana in the oats and mashed it, the oatmeal would be sweeter and he would need to use less maple syrup.
