So I ride with a lot of people who come from the roadie world. They tend to ride static, no body bike separation. They're main question is always jumping. I always tell them, "forget about jumping for now. We need to take you to the pump track to work on your timing and your motor skills." ie. body/ bike separation. I feel the pump track is crucial for all other skills.
Totally agree, when I'm giving lessons for jumping I always start on camel humps\ pump track when available. That motion is the key to learning jumps.
I loved this video and would love to see more like it. Plus I would believe that traveling to new places to ride new trails and pump tracks would be a lot of fun for you and Bernie. That look so so fun! I live in the US where we don't have anything like it. I get a bit jealous of the cool things I see in other countries. Generally speaking, living in the US is really boring unless you like football, or basketball, or baseball,or golf... I don't care about any of those things.

Wow. Last year we had the X Games for the first time ; Here at the fairgrounds on the beach in Ventura California .If they could make a permanent pump track for year round,all skills level like this one, that would be Awesome 😎

I really want to go there with you both!! 😍 Roxy I literally said out loud "i hope shes panting" then a second later you started trying to talk and I was so like there it is! 😂 Love that you show how tough it is. A lap there is like 2-3 of our pumptracks. You look so smooth and in control. We have the humps in the turns too and I struggle with those. Loved the race between you both. The whole clip was so fun. Berni you're just too cool for school 😂 keen to see ya top secret project ❤

This was such fun to watch. I could see (and almost feel) the difference in the size of the rollers of the different tracks thru watching how your pumping changed- interesting in that it wasn’t obvious from the camera alone.
