WHAT'S the BEST PLANT you got for FREE?
Echeveria agavoides loves fire! I don’t get very many plants for free but this one was actually given to me by a big box store because it was in such bad shape I asked if I could have a discount oh wait a second my loves fire and also my Crimson Tide!! They were both given to me by the same store for free!
@@janetac1738 You lucky girl. We don't have Love's fire here in OZ but it looks very similar to my agavoides #40.
I’ve got echeveria Giselle and blue minima ahahaha

@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK You're welcome!
Yes I hope so too!😊
How wonderful! Lucky u! I haven't gotten many for free but I did get a very large schefflera (umbrella tree) from a man who passed away and it has doubled in size. Its branches span about 8 feet across and 6 feet tall. Its very wide and full now. ☺ I love all ur new babies!! 😍
WOW! That's a big umbrella tree. 😲
Hi Liz, I am a succulent lover and a gemstone lover
Love watching your videos. I just ordered a cubic frost.

Thank you! You too!
You are lucky to have a very generous succulent friend😍😍😍
Yes I am. Looking forward to meeting her in person. Thanks for watching Cecilia.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK love watching your videos. I love your accent. Didn't realize that you're also a Filipina but living in the opposite side of the world. You have some succulents that we don't have here in California and your Echeverias are bigger. Maybe you have a better climate for Succies.
sana all HAHAHA
Hello, it could be a cresting Gilva ... I'm happy to see you so happy
Todas las suculentas
Muy presiosas
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Gracias.
Everybody is excitedly waiting for your collab with Madam Marge Santillan...and hoping that your schedule would allow it...Thanks and God bless
Loving that giddiness over the unboxing!! It's so uplifting watching how excited you are!!
I'm also feing in awwwwe as I'm watching you unbox these goodies but also thinking about the use of toilet paper to wrap succulents (noted from also purchased succulents) when toilet paper has been a covid pandemic sought after item and it's wasted just from the number of layers that wrap around each individual plant....🤔🤣🤣🤣
It's those unscrupulous people that took advantage of the situation in other places that's to blame. Personally I feel very lucky to be where I am as I did not experience this problem. We were sending toilet paper to friends interstate.
Hi Lizk I have watched this video twice!!! So entertaining, your laugh is so infectious 😃
PLEASE visit Layna Le once the border open up and show us her collections 🤩! Congratulations on your new succulents!
Most definitely will. Thanks for watching.
Woah
Hahaha.super cute nyo po tingnan sa introduction mo...
🥰
I wish my friends would give me free plants too. you have awesome collections
Yeah campton carousel/ Lenore dean is diva
😍😍😍
Oh my goodness that pink opalina is stunning! I would love a leaf from not. Wish we were neighbors, lol. I'm all the way in Southern California. Although I don't envy what is going on in Australia right now, people are suffering so much with what's being done.
Every day is a struggle but just have to soldier on. The weather here is also not cooperating to do some work in the garden. Take care and have a Great weekend Felicity. Thanks for watching.
Sana all po ahaha. Hirap daw po tlga buhayin ni Compton Carousel.
❤
Wow those are some beauties!!!!! I hope they thrive in your care and cant wait for the next video. Love having my morning coffee with your videos, puts me in a good mood for the day lol
I'm glad to hear that Davinia. Enjoy your coffee. Thanks for watching.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Thank you for your fantastic videos😊
My Houseleek has given me MANY free babies. LOL I am just starting to remove some and am watching them grow on their own. It's soooo cool. Also, I only have a very small succulent collection but I LOVE to purchase the tiny ones at Lowes whenever I can. You know, those $5.00 or less ones. I love to watch stuff grow because it makes me feel like I've accomplished caring for something and they bring me such joy. Right now, my biggest succulent (Echeveria Peacockii) is starting to sprout some babies on her trunk as well. I couldn't be more overjoyed. People who've given me freebies? A friend at work took a cutting off her blue rose and gifted it to me. I just recently started working there. It made my heart feel good. Also recently, if you like other plants, my friends Mom gave me a Bat-faced plant, and some okra plants to grow in my veg. garden. My own mom gives me plants of hers all the time. Most recently several cuttings from a variegated pothos she's had since I was a kid and some gorgeous Coleus. Sorry so long LOL. I didn't mean to... :P
Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you got your hands full. Have fun growing your babies.
I wanted you to know Liz that I appreciate your replies to my comments. I know it is not possible to reply to them all but you have made me feel very welcome to your channel. Thank you for your kindness. :)
Gorgeous plats.. So generous of her.. You can also name the agavoides plant a "swirly".. ♥️
Yes! Thank you!
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK ♥️♥️♥️
Love the variegateds and I buy any I see if I can afford it. I only have var. Crassula Campfire and Var. Jade so far but I love their pretty colourings. ❤️ I love the PVN var & Etna var. is so gorgeous as well as those black var. I saw there at the end of your video. Those prices are crazy for Compton Carousel but now that we’re all locked down in our states I guess people are taking advantage due to the plant boom that happened last year.
"Taking Advantage" is the key word Susan. My Father used to say that if someone could bottle air....they would sell that too....LOL
Now they have! Thanks for watching and you keep safe and sane.
Oi minha menina 👧
Sua alegria é contagiante parabéns
Muito obrigado, linda senhora. Estou feliz que você esteja gostando do meu vídeo.
💕💕💕
Muchas gracias Morenita por comentar y ser la primera.

Hello from Newport Beach California ⛱
Love your love for succulents 💗
Do you own any cactus 🌵?
Yes I do. Thanks for watching.
good morning miss liz we have typhoon right now here in laguna Philippines. have a nice day 😊
Oh my goodness. Ingat po kayo dyan. You'll be in my prayers.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you miss fairy godmother 😘
I'd love to send you some plants too, but I'll have to try and figure out what ones we both have and don't! I love my plants and my collection is only a few years old so... I know you understand lol. oox
Hi Natalie, I don't normally swap plants with anyone. The plants in this video is not a swap but a gift from Layna. I just feel it's right to return the favor because of her generosity. Most of my friends would give me plants not expecting anything in return and I do the same.
If you're still keen to send me something for free, feel free to message me on Instagram. Link below the video. Cheers
Looking forward for step by step from soil to caring
Corrct po kyo mam lizk pag bnbgyan nyo po ng attntion n mamatay po pero pag pnpabyaan mo lng yng hndi ka bha lge cnchck yong plant bhay sila.. happy po ako for u kaingit😁😁😁
Thank you Jennifer. Ingat lang po kayo dyan.
Hiiiii😍💕✨
So what is a Compton carousel?? My favorite was the Ruby Donna because I just got one a few weeks ago and I want mine to get that juicy. Oh and the lupine because of the colors. Can’t wait for the next video. Thank you!
Wait lupine is a werewolf, I think your plant was a lapine?!?! Obviously reading too much high fantasy books lately. Ha!
Lupine is also one of my favorite plant. Use to have a Lupine garden before I knew the existence of succulents. Lycans I think is werewolf? Love fantasy movies...Oh yes that's right. Twilight...lol
Maybe Lupin is a Harry Potter character?? I think your right about Lycan. Not a twilight fan but can’t wait for the new season of the Witcher. And it has nothing to do with Henry Cavill. (Wink wink)
Hi Liz! It' so beautiful to see your happiness 🤗 I 've got an Echeveria "noname" for present, she propagates so much that every friend of mine has one baby echeveria "noname" 😁.
I love all the succulents, but in special way the red succulents.
"Noname" is a great succulent. I have plenty of them too and I love red succulents also....and pink and yellow....LOL Thanks for watching Christina.
It does look like agavoides nevada😊
I now found the id. It's called Echeveria Siren.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK i knew its rare and expensive🥰🤑
hope to have same friend u have.. 😅 😅 😅
Is Compton carousel same as Lenore Dean? They are hard to ship per a Korean seller. I wanted one as well. Good luck with your new babies.
One and the same plant from what I was told. The lady who grew it first I think is named Lenore Dean. Compton Carousel is the name it was given and the person who imported it to Europe gave it the name Lenore Dean as in reference to where the plant came from.
Hello beautiful
Hello 😊
Tita sana mapakita mo sa amin paano sila tanim ulit
Just uploaded the first step. Thanks for watching Thess.
Maam Lizk Opalina and ruby dinna is the same? I just had Diamond state😊
Ruby Donna is a hybrid of Opalina. Congrats on the Diamond State. Beautiful plant.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Gee thanks😊 Im happy Atleast 2% of your collections I have already but those are common. I only get rare S&C by chance😅😂
@@Ok-dw4gz Most of these "common" plants use to be rare. 🙂
Looks like korean succulents, I collect them. Is her TH-cam channel layna le collection, I wanna see her collections
She doesn't have TH-cam channel.
The rosette that has no name is called echeveria Agavoides Rajoya.
Thank you so much Itasha. I can now put a label on her.
Ms. Liz I have a question for you... I just started havig plants at home I was given a Pink Callisia I think I over watered it... its startig to die what should I do please help me... Nasa Canada po ako ngayon salamat po
First, make sure na it has plenty of air circulation. They can handle wet soil as long as they're not sitting on flat saucer with no gaps in the bottom of the pot. Let the soil dry up at least halfway before watering. They grow fastest in spring and summer. They start to slowly go dormant in autumn so the growth will be much slower. Keep them somewhere brightly lit and warm indoors in winter. They are very easy plant to grow provided you give them the right condition. Best of luck.
thank you po sa reply... so will just wait for the soil to dry up? Im just afraid the root will rot and it will die...
@@nicko31 Yes. Let it dry up.
You must be one fun gramma
hello Mrs. Lizk, nice to watch your youtube channel. I'm Radhian from Indonesia. I have some succulents collection. May i get your email to discusses and help me to identification some succulents collection. Thank you, Mrs. Lizk
It's difficult to tell with just photos especially if they're still young. There are however a lot of websites online that will be useful if you do a bit of research for succulent ID. Good luck.
