    Please let me clarify 😅.
    1. When I said, "I hope the government would do something," I am talking about the economy. I hope the government would find ways to strengthen the economy and create more jobs. So people, especially married couples, won't have to live separately.
    2. I DON'T advocate for divorce!
I mentioned, "they're pushing for divorce in the Philippines." I'm just stating a fact. I personally think it's not the solution. I will try to make a separate video talking about why there's a push for divorce in the Philippines.
    3. With regards to the report from the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women: 36% of married men and 2% of married women engaged in extramarital affairs in 2009. That data does NOT account for single men and women who engaged in these affairs. The survey was taken from married couples only. It looks like most of these married men had extramarital affairs with single women. I hope that clarifies the numbers.
Hope that helps! Thanks for all the feedback! It's much appreciated!

The Government : Never ever expect the Govt of The Philipines voted into power by Filipinos will never solve , fix , legislate or do anything to help the plight , the living conditions or the poverty of the vast Filipino masses .Thats fairy land stuff. You may as well beleive in the Easter bunny , Santa and the tooth fairy . Purely and simply the Govt of the Philipines who are elected by Filipino voters who vote for The President , Senators and Congressmen are only there to aid themselves .I'm leaving out much more direct language .The point i make is that Filipinos can't and wont change the Government because serious economic and political changes are impossible because all the politicians wont make changes that decrease or stop their own families getting wealthy. There is no reform or serious changes going to happen under any circumstances in the country .Forget it .

Many Filipinas i mean millions are stuck in a loveless marraige or alone at home with children .Many Filipino males have left the legal wife and live and have children with their girlfreind . To give the legal wife a chance of a free life to choose a new man if possible and start a new life with better options in life there has to be divorce or greater legal access to annullment. The original legal wife just cant be punished for the rest of her life alone and single . The country needs to modernise like avdanced countries do .However everyone knows who prevents legal modern divorce and contraception like rich countries have .Women need equal rights like advanced countries do not kept in old world chains .

Having had a number of relationships here in the USA, I can say one of the most disheartening experiences for us men, is coming to the realization that no matter what you do for your American woman, what you provide for her, it will never be enough. On the other hand, many Western men are finding, to their good fortune, that good Filipinas in the Philippines are very appreciative, loyal, and yes...happy, if you love them, respect them and provide a reasonably comfortable life for them. It's a win/win!!

My opinion we all know the Filipina marries The Foreigner because the phone I can give her a better quality of life and what he can provide for her and her family and this is why the Filipino gets with the Foreigner I don't believe she really loves the Foreigner the way she should it's all about what he can provide for her because if it wasn't about the finances and what he can provide for her she would stick with her own kind and that's basically what it is it's not about No Love is what the Foreigner can provide

You make some really good points (probably a few videos worth! 🤣). What you say is really accurate from my own observations and experiences. I find there can often be issues around "expectations", in a Filipina and Foreigner relationship, where "all foreigners are rich". You spoke about Filipino men and how they basically go on a charm offensive, to woo the Filipina, before ultimately getting what they wanted and then it all comes crashing down. I think, in part, because of this, there is an expectation on the foreigner to do the same and Filipinas are then forever chasing the "kilig-kilig". It seems to come as a shock to them when you tell them that the vacation in Boracay was just a once a year thing and you won't be sending her flowers every week and buying gold jewellery etc..
There's nothing wrong at all with being romantic. In fact, western men could pick up a trick or 2, BUT, it is important to be authentic and not to portray ourselves as providing a fantasy lifestyle. There are also expectations on the Filipina to be a positive contributor to the relationship. You can be a good provider, without paying someone to be with you. For most Filipinas, a western income (pension or not) is already going to afford her better opportunities in life. It's important that she also realises you also have other options and won't settle for someone that's in it for just the money and gifts.

TH-cam kept showing this video (possibly because recently I was there for a month), so I eventually watched it. 🙂 One interesting observation of mine is actually that what you described as the good quality of Filipino men is, as far as I can see, widely recognized as a quite toxic behavior in the West: Extreme courting which consists of playing/faking someone else than who they truly are, just to "get the girl", after which it will invariably turn out that actually they're a quite different person to live with. I think the majority of mature people in my culture realize that if they meet a man who is strongly flirty and grandiose, then that man is probably doing the same to other girls as well, and they generally have serious (narcissistic) personality issues that are incompatible with a stable long-term relationship. And the values women (who are mature and desire a serious relationship) are looking for is more along the lines of true honest communication, real talk about important things, building trust, respect and affection through repeated mutual gestures, being able to talk through problems and solve conflicts constructively, having similar core values and goals in life, etc. At least I hope that I'm not being too idealistic. Also, possibly not everything translates between the two cultures.
But, generally speaking, there are a lot of dysfunctional people in the west these days, from all genders. That's also a large part why some Western men are looking for a Filipino partner - because typically they have more stable values and more predictable life goals.

I am glad I found this video. Thank you very much for your insight. I am married to a Filipina and I pray for her a lot because there is so much temptation to sin and I can see the traditional values slipping away from Filipina culture the further the Catholic Church strays away from God.
It will say that it is not a bad mindset to encourage a wife to stay strong in a relationship where her partner is cheating. It sounds like you read the Bible. You know Paul teaches this. A wife’s husband’s unbelief and iniquity does not give any wife the right to abandon her service to her husband. She glorifies God when she continue doing the right thing, even if she suffers. There is a greater plan than our own happiness and contentment in this life.
Prayer and adherence to God’s commandments. Nothing gives us the right to forgo those, no matter how much someone we love hurts us. If we want a relationship with God, then we forgive them and pray for them, as Christ commands.
God bless you sister, keep doing what you do.

There is a BIG difference between American and Filipinas when it comes to money. Especially when it comes to a man’s pensions. My ex-wife told my lawyer and the judge that MY pension was hers lol 😂 so help me GOD. I worked 35 years and she was married to me for 20 of those years and when the judge told her she could only get a percentage of the 20 years we were married and not a percentage of the 35 years. My pension is almost $4,000 a month and she told the judge she would give me $400.00 a month from MY Pension. lol 😂 the judge laughed and asked her if she was serious. Unfortunately she was. The judge gave her the amount that the chart said she was entitled to. Her lawyer actually quit her before the court date because she wanted ALL OF MY PENSION. She then tried to claim I had over seas hidden accounts and actually convinced her lawyer of this before she quit. Once the lawyer tried to explain to her that she investigated that claim and there was no merit to it; my ex had such a melt down in her office that the lawyer said “enough” and told her to find another lawyer because I was being more then fair in the divorce and she was being way beyond unreasonable. Now a Filipina will tell you it’s YOUR MONEY and YOU worked for it. Not American woman they act like what is your is theirs, and what is theirs is theirs. American woman are selfish, greedy and most are narcissistic. Filipinas are loyal and not materialistic or high maintenance unlike the American woman.

We appreciate you sharing another insight into the Philippines' cultural biases, especially on the great degree of infidelity that has enveloped that nation. With many foreigners marrying Filipinas, I wonder if they don't fear that they may later lose their Philippine spouses based on the ingrained (although not favored) desire to stray since it is an observed acceptable practice within some family structures.

Just discovered your channel and I like your English speaking ability, also the way that you present your arguments and deliver your topic. I am very surprised by your statement that "it is not easy for Filipinas to find love ", why is that?
I am looking for an intelligent, educated Filipina without any children ( had bad experience with women with children,so want my own ) ,but is happy to have a child(ren) with me .
You wanted to say " in a state of limbo " ( not knowing what is happening next )
I like your frank ,open honesty about your culture and your people. I have always liked Filipina, although I got scammed when I joined Filipino Cupid and was too kind and stupid . I was shocked and a bit too trustworthy, but I am not giving up on finding my dream Filipina 😊

It is all a matter of social security, hence the old Western guy is needy for sex and attention he can't find in his country, he feels he is expired, and the Filipina is in search of social security. These two parties close a transaction that they call "falling in love". Meaning they love the deal they make for themselves.

I am American going to meet my new Filipina girlfriend for the first time at the end of this month (Jan.'24) after video chatting at least six times a day with her for 4 months.
I have been through a few bouts of tampo with her due to her trust issues.
I did all the right things, canceling subscriptions to dating sites and not talking to anyone else other than her.
I was scared that I would lose her but I did not give up because I know that she is the the person that I want to spend the rest of my life with and I believe that she feels the same way about me.
Fortunately, I think I have finally gained her trust in the last month or so.
Still, our conversations after the initial week or two of chatting have become very deep, very personal and very rewarding.
She is truly my dream woman who has shown me that she wants to be dedicated to her man as I want to be to her.
I cannot believe that I found someone so comptable at my stage of life who who has a great sense of humor while also being able to discuss anything and everything.......we have so much fun and laughter while chatting!
BTW, for foreigners who may not be familiar with the term "tampo" it is a bad mood that Filipinas tend to get into and you just have to be calm, patient and understanding with them while trying to let the mood pass without arguing with them....too much! LOL

These dudes just want to enjoy they're lives have a good women who's the CEO of his house who can take care of it and he just wants to grow old and enjoy his grandkids. More and more broken family will never see that. Why? 50% of all marriages end in divorce. I agree with a lot of things here. Men in the Philippines need some changing. I dont think it should be only the government's job, but it has to start from the home. Sad to say that i do not think the degeneracy will end. Yes there are women that fall in the same line and power dynamics are not the same with men and women. Women have control of access of sex and men control access to a relationship, but i feel like if more men were to lead, women would automatically would follow, because they are drawn to it. Sadly like you say, the crab in the bucket mentallity.
The western men you see are pretty much the last of the strong men. The new generation are pretty much beat around the bush, not direct and cant make up their minds as well. Filipina women in the future will still end up in the same problem with western men. Like the responsible western men, they will not be single for long. I will admit. My Ex was filipina and i had traits of many weaknesses and she saw that and there was a great shift in power and imbalances in our relationship. Evectually it did not last for very long. I can say the same for newer generational young men and filipinas. As traditional as they are, \when they see that, they will end up just like how mines did.
Only way to prevent that is for men to carry traditional values and be surrounded by other men. Work hard, be disciplined and carry responsibility on your shoulders. Women admire that. Do that and you will be respected when earned.

As for Foreign men, go look up the divorce rates in the West. Female perspective. The reason a like of Filipinas married American service men was not because there was a base in PH. That was only logistics. The reason was because American service men were earning a lot more and it was steady income. We've seen the same all over the world at various times. After WWII Italian women wanted to marry American men because the economy was so bad in Italy and Europe. Life was hard and American husband was an instant better life.
There's nothing wrong with that. Natural human instinct for women to seek providers and males liking to be providers. Got our species this far. But wow do modern women hate to admit they want a guy with money. Super true in the West, but somewhat true in the rest of the world. Before 1960's movies and TV was full of shows where women were after higher earning men. It was perfectly acceptable and women were respected who went after a higher earning man. It was considered smart for women.
This changed thanks to feminism but also because of divorce in the West. Men were happy to be providers to life long partners. But no fault divorce changed the deal where a wife could exercise her option to end the marriage while having the State force the man to remain being her provider. Men started to view women as gold diggers, dishonest and a threat. So women started to be shamed by feminist and disliked by traditional men.
