Very spot on observations. All your comments I believe are accurate. Your points were very well presented giving the historical perspective was a very good way to give your viewer/audience a good lead in to every area you spoke about and understanding of the Filipino culture and traditions . Keep up the good work you articulate well. Hope to hear much more relatable talk of substance that will give anyone contemplating moving to the PHilippines and those who find your talk compelling clarity.

No matter where I go people gossip as outlined but I don’t really care what people think. Three years or 30 years, let them talk. it will not change my way of course jealousy may be a prime example or others but if people talk let them. I don’t care. I am used to this in America every day of my life so that’s why I don’t mind if dogs bark because that’s all they know how to do

Great video! I think another good point to mention is that foreigners are more attracted to the women that Filipinos find less desirable; the “exotic” ones. It’s rare to see a foreigner with a very attractive Filipina, which is probably why nobody gets jealous lol

Just my observation as a white foreigner, I think the women get the better end of the deal when it comes to being mixed race. Lots of beautiful non mixed Filipinas too, but the white/filipina mix seems to work out better for the girls than the boys. Not saying there aren't any handsome mixed men, there definitely are, but it just seems more likely the girls get the looks.

So I asked my Filipino friends this weekend, what's the word for foreigners, white men, that come to your country, steal your women, and act like a holes. They gave me a word. I said it, and they laughed. As i get to know the group better, which changes every 30 to 60 days due to visa/passports expiring, I learn few of them are actually Filipino. Most are mixed with all types of cultures. The one I am chasing, is part Japanese part Filipino. Her best friend is part Chinese and Filipino. She referred to the group really as mutts because of all the colonization. So its pretty hard not to have an interracial relationship when those individuals are already mixed. I am learning the culture, and mindset from in person conversations and watching videos like this to really get to know what's going on. Plenty others are mixed that I meet as well. I asked them how they feel about white men specifically dating their sisters, cousins, aunts. They all said it doesn't bother them. There are plenty of Filipinas to go around.

I do understand from the men's perspective, because in my country we have a lot of them here right now that a lot of the women are taken by them. By no mean's i support the way they act by shouting at you. In my country it is small and you see limited amount what's available to you. There are upsides and downsides to foreigners in a country. Plus side is you get exposed to new things and you do interracial marraiges, downside, is when there are too many of the same looking. My GF is filipina, but when i was there, i went to her hometown in the province, I have had many questions from many women wanting a foreigner. A lot of these women do not want anything to do with the men in their own country, That is the negative side I see about it. This leave men with less options because it seems like a vast magority wants what it outside of their country. As a foreginer I do encourage filipinas to marry their own men, because thats how it should be. without that then the culture die out. Everything is inluenced by everything and before you know it what was once a culture is gone. I know this, i have seen this in my country. Our culture has died out, and my fellow people has fled and, gone overseas or here with someone else that is not from the country. I had to seek elsewhere because in a country so small with 70k people living in it you see the difference. When i was in PH i spoke with a few young ladies and told them can be an option, but the men in their country should be the first option. Not all are positive and will be an end all be all when you date a foreigner.

Most Filipinos only knew one kind of foreigner they used to see downtown on the street of Mabini Manila . The first cousin met me it was back in 2008. We met her for lunch in Makati. I was tall neat hair, not bald clean shaven no three day growth , clean shirt with collar, no tattoos on arms or legs , no aged pensioner look , looked 42 not 72 , athletic not fat and boozy big gut , clean hands clean fingers no ciggy stains , all my teeth none missing, smart Levi’s and clean shiney black shoes no flip flops . I was fully employed with my own car and house back home. Her cousin hadn’t met an Australian before. She told her Aate “ Gurl your so very lucky nman naa ! “ 😊

I don't see anything wrong with a woman trying to improve her life through marriage. That is what a man brings to the relationship. Men go for beauty, women go for security. That's that natural way of things. People who object to either usually have some kind of ideological ax to grind.

In 1953 Marilyn Monroe stared in a movie called Gentle Prefer Blondes. In this movie she makes a comment, where she says if you had a daughter would you prefer that she be with a man who can take care of her and give her the things she wants to make her happy. Instead of man who struggles in life and the woman is goes to bed every night wanting more for herself and her childeren. In response to her only dating rich men. So if someone is making a comment that a women is dating a man who has the means to give a woman what she wants, they are really just showing their own insecurities of their shortcoming to make that woman happy. Every man and woman should want more for their daughters and sons

I think us Americans are influenced by Filipino culture as well. I know I'm influenced by Filipino culture. Not as much as I would be if I lived there though. If Americans didn't adapt to the Philippines we couldn't live there. Everything is so much slower there. 5-10 things we can do in the US we can do in one day. In the Philippines 🇵🇭 it can take weeks.
