As you watch more it will change there be times when it's Rosé and Lisa or jennie and jisoo or jisoo and Lisa or Rosé (hubby) and jennie (wifey) I love the Rosé jennie combo
Lately, there are 2 duos in the group, Jisoo-Jennie, the 2 older members of the group born in 1995 and 1996, and Rosé-Lisa, the 2 babies (born 1 month apart, in February and March of 1997).

Lisa and Rose, they're twins, that's what they call themselves, there's a documentary about Blackpink on netflix
in case of pairing, the closest two are Rose' and Lisa, Jisoo and Jenny but all of them are like a big family

I think the closest bond is actually between rosé & Lisa and Jisoo & Jennie. but of course they are all close to eachother.
the reason why i pointed out the pairing like this is because Rosé and lisa were kinda like twins as trainees(you will understand it when you watch the netflix documentary "light up the sky").
They also did alot of livestreams together for example where rosé was cooking for lisa and such.
while jisoo even gave jennie the nickname "jendeukii"(a combination of the words Jennie and Jjindeuk (찐득) which means clingy) because she was always sticking and cuddeling jisoo.
They were like "naked buddies"(bathing together).
But as i said they are all close to eachother and have individual "couple names" haha.
Lisa and Jisoo also hang out together alot and are called the "crackhead duo", coz they are always chaotic together.
Recently Rosé and Jisoo also seem to do alot together especially during the born pink tour, they are called the "soft duo".
Blackpink House showed a lot of their personalities. Each episode has around 5 parts. You might enjoy each episode at a time instead of watching only one part. Hope you will upload more of them. 😊

COME BACK = the release of a new album in K-pop lingo. It nearly always involves the release of a new music video of the title track of the album, followed by a series live performance in many TV shows. Most groups have more than 1 come back a year (their "rival" girl group Twice have 5 - 6 a year). BlackPink has only one every 1 - 2 years. At the time of this video, the latest come back was 'Kill This Love' album in 04/2019. In 2020, soon after this show in June, they released first the "pre-release" MV 'How You Like That', a second release MV, 'Ice Cream' in August, and finally the actual come back came in October with title track "Lovesick Girls" of their first full-length 8-tracks album "BlackPink The Album". YGE loves to tease Blinks before releasing the real big event.
And, the time between their comeback, usually they have their own business, like acting for Jisoo, Lisa being a jugde/dance mentor in China, preparing their own solo music, chilling doing whatever their want, or attending fashion show/jewellery in Paris based on their brand ambassador at (Jisoo is Dior and Cartier, Jennie is Chanel, Lisa is Celine and Bvlgari, then Rose is Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany and Co).
Actually, Blackpink almost doesn't come to TV Series or Reality Show or even a music awards. They tend to make it by themselves and publish it in their youtube channel. That is a good marketing and monopoly..hehehee... they make themselves exclusive.

Nah "comeback" is just a kpop term for "a new release". Might be a song or an album. But in Blackpink's case a literal meaning since they usually have 1-2 years hibernation inbetween new songs.
Although I love "BlackPink House" better, just seeing the preview for "BlackPink/24/365", it just reminded me there are so many good episodes, and its a lot of fun to watch.
You deserve the praise, you are a really great reactor and seem like such a genuine person. Keep supporting BP and BM and I will continue to support you.
Did you see Jennie mouth words silently? When they were giving out spoilers to their next song, Jennie mouthed the words,"How you like that". Blinks figured out the name of this their would be next song the day after this prologue was released.
I've noticed over the years that the group dynamics change dramatically depending on who they happen to sit next to and what language is being spoken.

The pandemic definitely impacted their schedule. They were supposed to do Coachella in 2020 and start their World Tour. Instead they posted a TH-cam Livestream concert called *BLACKPINK: THE SHOW* which was very nice but also felt strange because there was no audience. So after a song ended it was just....silence.

"comeback" is considered a official new release like an album or a new single that is promoted(via music shows etc.)
its a bit of a weird kpop term. for example, BP released the OST song for their game "Blackpink the Game" named "The girls" recently.. and this is NOT considered a "Comeback" even tho its a released single that you can even buy physically. but since its not promoted as a "single release" but an OST its not considered a comeback.
it gets even weirder: for some ppl in kpop terms a "pre-release single"(a single thats on the upcoming album but is not the "title track") is also not considered a "comeback" yet. only when the albums title track is released. Blackpink is kinda famous for having bigger gaps between their "comebacks" than other kpop groups.. thats why their "comebacks" are always like a big event and crushes so many records.
but its not like they are on "hiatus" between these comebacks. for example their biggest comeback break between 2020 and 2022 they also did alot inbetween like their online concert "the show". did alot of collabos(pubg mobile, tokopedia etc.) and released their Movie(Blackpink the movie that was shown in theaters around the world).. beside Lisa and Rosé releasing their solo projects and jisoo her kdrama series. they are always individually booked for fashion gigs(paris fashion weeks for example and magazin shootings). they are always present in some way or another.
In fact, if we are going to talk about the duos in Blackpink, the duos are Chaelisa(Rosé and Lisa) and Jensoo(Jennie and Jisoo), even though they are all very close, these duos are even closer, Rosé and Lisa are from the same year 97 so they are very good friends, and Jennie and Jisoo have been very close for a long time, Jennie has even gone on trips with Jisoo's family

Since you have a glimpse in Blackpink House and 24/365, you might try BPM roll #1 started Born Pink era or roll #23 about Coachella. You don't need to continue in order, just make sure you are having fun and enjoy Blackpink. So far their contract still postponed to announce from YG, hope they will be able to have more albums and concerts as a group, and be able to have control of their lives. We are waiting for the news after the Babymonster debut.
Like most people already explained, a "comeback" just means "new release" in Kpop terms; there's a lot of new terms you'll be learning the more you get into Blackpink lol. Although, it's usually a much bigger event when Blackpink has their comeback because unlike other Kpop groups, who have an average of 2-3 comebacks a year, Blackpink only has 1 comeback ever 1-2 years.

Also, which members are closest to one another can be up for debate. Some might say it's Lisa and Jennie, other's might say it's Lisa and Rosé, or Jennie and Jisoo, etc. Honestly, I think the perception of which pairings are the closest heavily depends on the content you're watching. For example, in some videos, Lisa and Jisoo are joint at the hip and always causing chaos together so you might think they're the closest, but in one of their early interviews, Jisoo and Jennie talked abt the time they bathed together and that could make you think that they're the closest. So, like I said, it really just depends.
In kpop, in between albums when they 'take a break' for a few months and then start a new song/album it's called a comeback. But it's just different like with American artist where American artist take breaks of years, some even 20 years...

In Kpop, a "comeback" is releasing new music, whether it's one song or mpre
But to be clear the girls have been very much active during the "hiatus but obviously in individual projects n Lisa did reveal in an interview that even Wen they r on hiatus they active together in the studio, recording songs etc.
Blackpink often goes on a hiatus after a comeback. This is a decision of YG Entertainment. With the comeback they are speaking of, they took about a year away. After this comeback they went on a almost 2 year hiatus until they dropped pink venom and their born Pink Album.
True. And when they go on "hiatus" it's not like they're just goofing off. There are haters in other fandoms who try to make a big deal out of Blackpink not releasing music at the same pace as average Kpop groups do. They don't really even have a valid point. For one thing, the 4 or 5 albums per year that many Kpop groups put out are nothing to brag about, since most of the songs are fillers that nobody cares about and even their fans don't care about. Blackpink's "b-side" tracks are almost always vastly more successful than even the title tracks of many Kpop groups.
And even during the "almost 2 year hiatus"...that was the time period in which Rosie and Lisa did their solo projects and Jisoo spent half a year working on and starring in a 16-episode TV drama. (It's funny how when the group was active before that, so many fans kept begging for the solo projects. Then when they were doing the solo projects, other fans kept begging for the group to "come back". Just shows that to some extent, some percentage of the fans have to be ignored at different times because there's no way to please everyone all the time.) Jennie was no doubt also working on recording things during that hiatus.
Blackpink now has a really good size discography, with more than 40 extremely popular songs, which is a better situation than the groups who have put out several hundred songs during the same number of years...but only have 5 or 6 popular songs...or a dozen at most. Try doing a global tour, with 70 shows in 24 countries, when you have 500 songs, but your fans only really like 10 of them. There's a reason why Blackpink was able to successfully do a record-setting global tour, while the groups that have several hundred songs would not be able to pull it off.

If u watch it in that order, U will be less confused since the girls often talk about their past activities etc. Some of the inner jokes and all are related to their previous show/Live etc too. Just want to give u the best experience, thats all. 😊

There are no real duo's. Jisoo often does things with Jennie, then Rose, then Lisa. So do Rose and Lisa or Jennie and Lisa. The more you see the more you will see they all interact with each other quite often.

I thought it was a ChaeLisa thing too. But They really gravitate to each other in any partnership paring. I think Jennie seems to be the most busy involved with more behind the scenes stuff. So I always thought we got more of the other 3 together.
The stronger connection is between jisoo and jennie called jensoo and Rose and lisa called chaelisa. Jennie and jisoo are really emotionally connected with each other. Lisa and rose are like twins.
Lisa and jennie duo may look stronger when they are performing cuz both are rappers and go WILD on stage. They flirt with eachother alot on stage. Obviously everyone has a good relation with eachother. But jensoo and chaelisa are the strongest ones. You'll get to know about them more during your blackpink journey.

During their intros the girls chanted "aegyo, aegyo!" at Jennie. "Aegyo" is a Korean term which means "acting cute", which could be making blinky eyes at someone, baby talk, cute gestures, etc. Jennie cringes at aegyo because she has a "fierce" persona, so doing aegyo is torture for her.
