fun fact: the song lisa used for "the movie" is "tomboy" by destiny rogers. destiny said that if lisa hadn't used her song, she probably would've had to give up on her dream of being a performer and go back home since her music wasn't performing well at all so she said lisa basically saved her entire career since the streams of her song went up 1939% after lisa used it for "the movie". there's even a video of them talking on face time and destiny's thanking lisa and lisa's being all shy and humble about it, it's really cute.

Lisa is truly what she is .... a "one in a generation gem" is no longer a secret anymore. As much as it hurt some Korean pride, quite a number of K-pop industry experts and veterans when interviewed had mentioned in their own opinion that BlackPink Lisa is one of the best if not the top K-pop dancers. Lisa is a full package... dancing, rapping, singing, acting and even clowning ...... Nobody had make me laugh so much till I met BP especially Lisa :)
The thing that professional dancers note about Lisa is her precision and all of the little touches and movements she can add without losing the flow of the dance. There are a couple of pro dancers who have a serious crush on Lisa. Yeah, she's good.
Not to mention that she can pick up choreo in like ten seconds. :)
She is very professional and perfectionist. All the dancers who participated in 'the movie' are professional choreographers. The girl even opened auditions to find the perfect bartender. There is also the fact that her agency is not in charge of her individual channel, she comes with this quality content on her own and with her own team.

Actually Lisa has been dancing since she was little,back in Thailand she was part of various dance groups getting to win a national championship,together with Bam Bam, male kpop artis in GOT7 and fellow Thai born and childhood friend.
In #4 the 2 male dancers are part of a dance crew that is one of the best in the industry, as for the female dancer, she is Chesir Ha the actual choreographer for this and Lisa dance instructor/coach. Chesir Ha is also part of the female dance crew in "The Movie"

I relate to what you said in beginning, like how you appreciate when people can dance but you don't generally look up dance videos to watch. That was me... until I discovered Miss Lalisa 😩 I came across a fancam of her live stage last year and immediately I was hooked. Then she watched all the LiliFilms and the rest is history lol. Lisa is on another level... she's been dancing since 4 years old and became a dance mentor for a Chinese survival show at the age of 23.
Also please check out her Take Me + Swalla performance in Sydney. It was the fancam that started it all for me (and a lot of people). It's iconic. You won't be disappointed 😊🤭

These are just the best known, there are other funnier ones that you will learn along the way hehe. Ah, Lisa is known as one of the best dancers in kpop too.
I think the most famous nickname for Jennie is Jendeukie, that Jisoo gave her. I've seen alot of videos where even Jennie calls herself Jendeukie. Lol

The Movie story is that Lisa is a mob boss and her crew is trying to kill her with gas. She quickly realizes this since she has no mask on n they do. At the end in cahoots with the dealer, he puts poison drops on their masks n plays the "L" (Lisa) death card. A signal the hit is on n her crew is killed. She walks away like a Mob Boss!!

The other girl in #4 is the choreographer, Cheshir Ha, and she's also in 'The Movie' (she's the shortest dancer). If you're interested, there is a short segment in the 24/365 series, Episode 1, starting at about 2:15, that shows Lisa going for a one-on-one dance practice with Cheshir. It shows how hard they work on dance for the M/Vs and Lisa talks about her legs becoming famous. (I'm not suggesting a reaction video, just passing along information that I've gathered since I became entranced by Blackpink's performances. And they have a clip of Lisa training with her. She says Lisa is so talented and the easiest dancer to deal with. The reason is Lisa is a machine; she can see a choreo and will mimic it perfectly, so dance practices are usually 1-2 hour to pick up a whole dance routine and perfect it.
