I was diagnosed with DID 5 years ago, it isn’t a diagnosis you can self claim. You have to have MRI’s/ EEG’s/ and cancel out seizures and other possible mental illness. Trish OPENLY says she WAS NOT diagnosed with it, which makes her a faker. She doesn’t even understand how to speak about the illness but made a FULL video of alters switching? Control to even record or ‘summon’ an alter is harder than getting out of bed and working 9-5 five days a week for 52 weeks a year.

She's talked about it on h3 because her doctor said she had traits of it, but not specifically DID...and when she mentioned that she had traits of it because she does have these personality switches but not actual alters like with DID.....Anthony Padilla and his girlfriend both responded with her just saying it for attention since they had a recent video regarding DID...so I think they thought Trish was just jumping on the bandwagon for views...but when her angry side kicked in, because she wasn't being understood, as it does if you watched the first doctor drew episode with her and Ethan on h3 it explains her mena state without diagnosis....she said that when they said that her mental illness was fake and she was faking it all...she retaliated with a fake DID alter switching video since she didn't think anyone would believe her so she said fine ill show them what they want to see from me then...but she was just joking (not the best joke in her defense because its not something to joke about)...but because she used the words DiD and Alters in that one video, people blasted her for faking her illness that doctors are still trying to figure out....so she blew up and made a video giving the people what they kept telling her she should have instead. She isn't the best with knowing terms and medical things. She knows she has issues but hell, even doctors don't know whats going on in trish's case...so she doesn't know what she really has and doesn't....and when doctors say she has a trait of this and that...she thinks more into it and thinks she has part of DID abd such...she does troll a lot, like with the fake DID video...I mean it was obviously fake and she did that on purpose just to get people to eff off because she felt threatened when she was actually just trying to discuss what she had....but she messed up saying she had DID when she had traits of it. I think she is starting to understand herself more and what traits are, so anything she has said about her mental illness she is trying to explain genuinely but people always hate on her for it and she lashes out later. She has black out moments where she usually goes into self defense and anger and she won't remember a bit of it when she comes to. That's not switching to an alter....but you can see how a doctor might say it is similar because she isn't her normal self and she doesn't refer saying and doing such bad things afterwards. I'm sorry about your diagnosis and I wish you the best honestly. Anything to do with mental health is so important and complex. Im glad you have a full diagnosis so atleast you can understand what you have, and its not up in the air. I'm sure its been a long road and its been very hard. Papa bless friend 🙏

But this podcast has done the same for me this year, especially on my long commutes where my thoughts can get the best of me. I am forever grateful to H3 for that.
