Thank you for putting this together. I genuinely smiled ear to ear hearing your initial reaction to it. For the weight, this is Cr Yag so it has some pretty heavy elements in it. That brings up the density. But it is truly magical to hold. The pun intro was right on point!
You do amazing work, well done. I am so scared of even trying to roll one of these. I'd almost put it on a light-up pedestal instead, or turn it into a necklace with a chainmaile basket. I respect how you state you couldn't find what you wanted, so learned to make them yourself. One reason I got into dice myself.
Huge thanks to @hedronrockworks for letting me in behind the curtain, and letting me see his Laser Christmas D20! Super nice guy, and knowledgeable as heck! :)
That star faceting is amazing. I'd love for him to mold his dice and sell versions in resin or any material that I wouldn't be afraid to damage by rolling regularly. The actual gem ones I'd probably frame them or make jewelry out of them.
So great to see this collab, you're so right on his videos and work being art! Genuinely shed a tear when I watched the amethyst one. Great to see your look into it as well, absolutely love it, thanks a bunch!
I was hoping you two would eventually collaborate. It's really interesting to see a bit more detail on how Hedron does his stuff. I always keep thinking how I'd end up flubbing something horribly and not have enough material to rescue it. XD Heck, I barely have the patience to finish sand a model rocket, and that's way less exacting than what he does.
Damn, seen a few of his videos on TikTok but this is something else. Jealous you got to play with one. Perhaps someday I’ll be able to afford one for myself.
that die is so beautiful....also...."It's so big and heavy" is what she said....oh mylanta, you gave yourself away as a Full House fan....that's ok, i am too
I was curious because you said you have to send it back and checked his shop. And man, i was not disapointed when i saw that this D-20 was selled for 5000$. Big oof. Pretty sure its worth every dollar, but i never ever can and will effort this.
I missed the pun counter. Though I would challenge you, if you’ve never intentionally done a 20 count pun intro while displaying a fabulous d20 it would be fantastic to see you try. I can’t remember if you’ve reached a count that high in just the intro yet.
They actually make one! But I might can make that happen one day :) usa.levelupdice.net/search?q=hedron&submit=Search&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&type=product
Bringing the pun game back since that was my definitive trait in Hedron's video :p Old School 'Bonator!

Thank YOU for sending it my way my friend!
I DEFINITELY sent it off to LUD...
The way it refracted light, I would have sworn it was a piece of alexandrite
I love that the star is his signature because as I understand it, he came up with the star when trying to fix an error at one time
Huge thanks to @hedronrockworks for letting me in behind the curtain, and letting me see his Laser Christmas D20! Super nice guy, and knowledgeable as heck! :)
The collab I dreamed of happening is now a reality! Love both of your work and love the shiny math rocks!
It was a blast. Ryan is as nice to work with as you would imagine.
The collab I was not expecting, but am so happy to see! Love both of your channels
Was a big fan of his vids before we got to even work together. So this was an amazing time for me as well!
Absolutely love the facets on that. Purple is my fav color and the amethyst one he made is just stunning.
Oh yeah the amethyst is hard to beat for sure

They actually sell resin version :) usa.levelupdice.net/search?q=hedron&submit=Search&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&type=product

It was awesome to get to see all of the extra info! I was ecstatic to get this collab going!
Same! I cried on that one too
This episode is so interesting! Theres so many little steps to get such a beautifully stunning even with your finger prints covering them!
I guess I washed my hands in olive oil before filming haha. Glad you enjoyed!
Love having you back. And hedron Rocks
I'm hoping to one day have a showpiece from the both of you 💜
That'd make for a great collection!
Oh I love both of your channels so it was cool to see the collab!
TWO OF MY FAVORITE DICE MAKERS TOGETHER UNREAL
HECK YESSSSSS IM SO HYPE TO SEE THIS
Hope you enjoyed!
That D20 is so amazing. I would love one but scared to use it. Although, now I am picturing it in a chainmaile basket for a pendant.
I'd love a TINY one on the end of a gold ring :)
Very cool, looking forward to the next one!
I think you should start cutting stone dice also. Evolution of your craft.
Ooofff that's a MEGA investment, and obviously there is someone on YT who already does exactly that
The star shape on the corners is just beautiful! 🌟🧡
Ooooooh shiny🤩
The shiniest of shinies!
Beautiful Simply Beautiful. Makes me wanna get a device to cut dice myself.

I literally just got into watching his vids so this is awesome to see
Even if it's not a good rolling platform, it looked gorgeous sitting on the gold!
Gonna absolutely be my unique backdrop for glamour shots now haha
That's a gorgeous dice! I would LOVE a set, but I would NEVER use them. lol
I have watched some of Hedron's vids, holy crap it is amazing!
I missed an entire pun intro because I was drooling all over myself looking at that gorgeous gem.
Check out sage and nettle, they also make awesome D20 dice.
I'm real late on this one lol. Can't wait to watch later! Love the both of you guys' stuff!
He's an absolute Gem! You'll love it :)
Using a synthetic ruby to push the grinding compund into the copper... that's metal... and doing so is hardcore.
😂
@@hedronrockworks beautiful work, man :D
Metal eh? ;)
Damn, seen a few of his videos on TikTok but this is something else. Jealous you got to play with one. Perhaps someday I’ll be able to afford one for myself.
Ok now youre just fucking with us putting out a Christmas themed video when we havent even finished Halloween
So happy to see more puns!
Do you take a SHINE to them ;D
I adore the pun intros
Now you "just" need to get quartz with real gold inclusions and ask him to make it into a dice - thats would be the ultimative Rybonator Dice
@hedronrockworks - PLEASE
I missed your pun game 🤩
that die is so beautiful....also...."It's so big and heavy" is what she said....oh mylanta, you gave yourself away as a Full House fan....that's ok, i am too
Dang it, I've been caught! :p

Oh dang... That will require all my cunning- but I'll give it a shot one day
I missed Rybonator lol
Missed you more :P
It would be amazing if you show the whole “d20 star no cheat” faceting diagram, if that’s acceptable
Dang! I just saw that your back!
My damned algorithm...😢
A literal math "rock"
Damn, missed a pun opportunity
Would it be to much to ask if you can make a mold of this beauty, I would love to see his amazing pattern with some shiny gold sparkles in resin!
They actually make one! But I might can make that happen one day :) usa.levelupdice.net/search?q=hedron&submit=Search&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&type=product
Spellcasterdice (UK Dice Maker) has made this, not sure if she's still making resin dice with star faces.
The math rock got even mathier
Will he allow you to make a mold of it? :)
The future contains endless possibilities ;)
Came here to say the same.
I’d be so curious how that beautiful shape would look if it was cast with an opaque single colour pigment.
Found that they do sell resin versions though - usa.levelupdice.net/search?q=hedron&submit=Search&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&type=product
Been following hedron for awhile. The dice are gorgeous, wish I could afford them... Sigh...
noot noot
Noot for the algorithm!
Please hold it over a plain white background. Why is this not possible?
This is super cool. I love seeing other makers share their process.
Crap Blablablablabla
Literally the worst time to be red-green color blind🥲
why do i feel like some dice making goblins are going to turn into gemstone cutters 🤍
