Wow. These photos are amazing. You make it look so easy. Very inspirational. I have an A1, you have inspired me to get into the development side of things. Thanks.
+EduardoPavezGoye what settings are you shooting on here? I could kinda make out that it was shutter-priority, and you had the highest shutter speed selected. Is that right? Because I could not see properly. Great vid.
You make taking beautiful pictures look so damn easy! You always seem to find the shot. No matter the camera you make beauty happen! Thanks for sharing
wow, the look of the building at 2:39 is incredible if there were no people in that shot you could have told me that it was a photo by an old master and I would have believed you. the way its rendered is stunning!!
The photograph at 1:30 is just amazing! That moment of 4 completely different people with their own stories crossing each other was so tiny and yet you captured it! Love the video, inspires me to go out and shoot as well!
That is actually a Kentmere film branded Agfa. Nothing common with the original APX 100, which final stocks were sold as Rollei Retro 100 (not 's') in 2010. Back then, it was incredibly cheap. I paid less than 2 € per roll.
Love your video! It is really nice to see how professionals take street photos because I often find myself too shy to take photos of strangers. The image quality of each photo is amazing!
WOW Eduardo!!! Absolutely mesmirizing Images! I just dug a Canon A1 from a big box my my parents old stuff! and can't wait to get shooting now that your images have inspired me!!
I'm always amazed at how swift you are at photographing people in the streets... I always feel like I take too long to compose and focus the picture.. maybe I need to not overthink it as much! a few unfocused pictures is worth the few candid shots that could come out of it..
2:46 it's a great photo! OMG. I came here, on your channel today and I know, that I will follow next videos. Good luck and make as good photos as you can! Cheers from Poland!
Thanks Eduardo your advice to " Do not label your self'' really mean alot to me and one more thing can you make a video using point and shoot film camera
At 1minute and 30 seconds , their is the shot of 4 people in the entry way with the 2 blokes smoking in the fore and back ground , the lad looking at you and the lady with the scarf. A fantastic and worthy photo. I reckon Bruce Gilden would give the thumbs up .
Agfaphoto APX-100 is a very nice film. Very fine grain, versatile and forgiving (I shoot it with "sunny 16" all the time with excellent results) and looks FANTASTIC developed with Rodinal (normal or stand). It sometimes lacks in contrast compared to T-Max 100, but the latter does not forgive exposure errors like the APX does. Certainly not just a "drugstore film". I wish it came out in 120 as well, but it doesn't.
beautiful video and frames. Just ordered my A1 too, should be arriving this week. Gonna shoot a film of colour iso 400 and then gonna go ahead and try a 100 iso black and white. Thanks for the inspiration
Ed!! this is such a fantastic idea! film is getting harder and harder to come by in Canada but I think I'm going go hunt some down! Thank you so much for the inspiration. Your photos turned out fantastic - I love the grainy quality of the film you chose :)
Great video, I actually just bought the A-1 from eBay. I wasn't sure how it shot so watching you video gave me a rough idea. I like the grain of the film you used, I'll have to use it sometime.
I am looking for a hp5 cheaper option with good latitude and I think the apx 400 could be a good substitute. Foma and Kentmere there are good options as well. Nice photo the one with the kid looking at you. Saludos
Hello Eduardo, I discovered your channel through this video (I recently bought a Canon A1 camera). Since then, I suscribed to your channel and I am rushing your shoot film video series. Love your work, your vision, how you catch up daily life's moments and people.
+Hadrien Chau oh, thanks man. It makes me really happy that you enjoy my videos! I will try to have a nother "shoot film" with my A-1 which is currently not working, but I'll save some money to repair it. enjoy it, it's a great camera!
Hi +EduardoPavezGoye, love your photos ! I got the same camera too but im a beginner of photo shooting, would you please advise the settings on the A1 camera for shooting i.e. outdoor ... etc ? thank you !
I just got my Canon a-1 and I'm starting to learn how to use it very difficult I've been looking at your videos it helped a lot thanks for the videos keep it up
+sandro serna I'm glad you liked it! if you are familiar with DSLRs, the Canon A1 will be very easy to use, since it only has two modes: Av (where you choose the aperture, and the camera selects the speed), or Tv (where you select the speed and the camera chooses the aperture). remember to set your lens in the "A" position, and have fun! :D
Your really good at street photography and capturing a split second moment! I wish I had that film conveniently in our stores. We mainly have kodak or fujisuperia for cheap film. Keep up the good videos and always, keep film alive :)
This was so amazing! I enjoyed the whole video so much ;^; No sé, me encantó, y me reí mucho con la foto de las amigas en la fuente, so clever. J'attends des autres vidéos!
Subscribed. Great video and have enjoyed your other videos as well. Who was the music artist on this one? Great background music for a "shooting video" .
Hello!I am currently using this exact camera for the photography that will be in 2nd book. These images that you caught are amazing. I am new to using a film camera. What were the settings on when you shot these photos? I hope you understand what I'm asking, lol.
How do you adjust so fast and take the photo in seconds, also capturing the moment ??? I would like to know for a while. Excellent videos, congratulations and you're cool
Just found out about your channel because I made a search for "Lomo LC-A 120 Camera". Anyway, great photos and nicely chosen music. Liked and subscribed. I just wonder how you got such a nice color grade on this video? Did you use any preset? Which camera? Thanks
just started watching the shoot film series again, its still sooo good ;) I have one Agfa APX flying around and wondering if you pushed the film in the video?
yi chan hey! you just made me remember double exposure is the reason I bought the A1 in the first place! I shot a roll with double exposure, my shots were really bad and never tried it again. I should do a full roll in double exposure for the next time. great idea! :D
Hello Eduardo, I have enjoyed the video and I find it very inspiring and encouraging. But still, I got a curiosity regarding the background song, please be kind and let me know the name of the tune! Cheers! P.S. I got an A1, didnt have the chance to shoot with it :)
0w3ll97 the A1 uses aperture or shutter priority. I don't really like that. I prefer full manual, to be honest. The less the camera intervenes, the better. :)
your photos are awesome!! (i am not self-confident enough to shoot some random people on the street..) do you live in berlin? i love shooting with the kodak portra 400 but this cheap B/W film pictures have extreme intensity! i already have two rolls in my fridge and cant wait to burn some memories in it! (sorry for my bad english..)
1:30 this shot is incredible ! Lovely result for a "cheap film"
I love that shot too! Captured the moment perfectly.
I don't really like it, it seems too dramatic and candid for my liking.. Though that's what some people enjoy.
@@jimjam6598 well fuck off then
100% agreed.
Wow. These photos are amazing. You make it look so easy. Very inspirational. I have an A1, you have inspired me to get into the development side of things. Thanks.
+jackwednesday glad to help, man!

Terrific pictures.
You are by far the best photographer I have ever seen. Please keep the digital and film series going.

I really love the characteristics of the APX films. It is my standard film for everyday use, pushing etc.
Excellent pics! A-1 is a great tool too.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos... and photos too :)
"Don't label yourself. Just go out and shoot." That is a very wise mindset. Wonderful video!
the shot you took at 1:30 in video was great... I really enjoyed the feel and direct look from him.. keep up the great work!
2:46 it's a great photo! OMG. I came here, on your channel today and I know, that I will follow next videos. Good luck and make as good photos as you can! Cheers from Poland!
this was sooooo nice! you got some really nice ones. makes me wanna get out and shoot right now!
GOGOGO
Thanks Eduardo your advice to " Do not label your self'' really mean alot to me and one more thing can you make a video using point and shoot film camera
Impressive! I miss using APX, I should get some :)
the first roll i ever shot (finished today) was agfa apx 100 on a minox 35 gt. sent it off to development earlier.
Amazing video with beautiful shots. Well done my friend.
Such a lovely video! I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing!
Was a really great vidéo and shoot.
Man, you are talented. I loved almost every shot here and you were just having fun with it. Great to see that. Thanks for the great content!
+Devon Saunders thanks for watching!
Damn. Those are stunning pictures!

Oh, I like your Videos, I like that you shoot anywhere you want, into the light, or with the light to your back.
I love your Ninja ways.
Inspiring! Great series. Can wait for more of these from you!

also, how do you manage to get that depth of field at 3:18? Where the closer object is blurry but the background is sharp
He shot with a very low aperture (F1.4, 1.8, 2) and then set the focus ring to near infinity so that objects far away get focused.
Incredible photos! Which kind of settings are you using, please - if you don't mind sharing. Cheers!

Awesome photos. The lightmeter can handle some difficult lighting conditions without underexposing the object.

Great video, enjoyed watching--would love to see you shoot some more on the A1 if you have any other lenses as well.
alumrock12 I only have the 50 f/1.4 and the 150 f/4, since I'm not a big fan of DSLRs... :(
Hi +EduardoPavezGoye, love your photos ! I got the same camera too but im a beginner of photo shooting, would you please advise the settings on the A1 camera for shooting i.e. outdoor ... etc ? thank you !

amazing results from A1.....but you definitely have the skills to shoot great pictures!
This was so amazing! I enjoyed the whole video so much ;^; No sé, me encantó, y me reí mucho con la foto de las amigas en la fuente, so clever. J'attends des autres vidéos!
Hola Eduardo, looking to buy this camera and i came across you're video, i like your style man. You got a new subscriber
Hola and welcome! :D

1:30 is a great shoot
and great session overall
is it 50mm?
You can make a world press photo with any camera. Cool video none the less.
How do you adjust so fast and take the photo in seconds, also capturing the moment ??? I would like to know for a while. Excellent videos, congratulations and you're cool
Hey Eduardo, this movie inspired me to buy a film camera.
Waiting now for the same Canon A1 to come through ebay. Can't wait!
Simeon Arabov awesome! let me know how you like it!!
+Simeon Arabov Go to shopgoodwill .com. You can thank me later
impressive photos!
also music: Silent Partner - Heart Beats
Gökhan Çamlıdağ thank you so much!
your photos are wonderful
Cool video. I also dig the background music. What focal length is your lens here?
What post processing in Lightroom do you do to your photos? Lower the contrast? Sharpen? It's beautiful.
wow. Eduardo Please explain how does the scanner work?
very nice. missed my om1 while watching this. cheers from the philippines!
Only a 100 bucks!!! These look great
Just found out about your channel because I made a search for "Lomo LC-A 120 Camera". Anyway, great photos and nicely chosen music. Liked and subscribed. I just wonder how you got such a nice color grade on this video? Did you use any preset? Which camera? Thanks
I have a video called "how I color correct my videos" in my "Tutorials" playlist. :)
@@edpavez will check it! Thanks!
hi, i really like your video. what scanner did you use to scan your film? and where can i get all the stuff for develop(process) a film? thanks!
qué maestro! mi favorita es la del 2:33
beautiful shots
Hey Eduardo, cual es el film que mas te ha gustado usar, if you don't mind me asking. Enjoying your stuff, saludos.
Amazing photos!!!
Nice pics and music. How is th e focusing in the camera? Did you pre focus most of the time ? Thnks
No. Everything is focues on the spot.
can you tell me what lens that you are using? it looks very good
didn't expect the pictures to turn out that well, you have some serious skills bro :)
just started watching the shoot film series again, its still sooo good ;)
I have one Agfa APX flying around and wondering if you pushed the film in the video?
+Daniel Lembke haha. thanks for watching it! about the Agfa... no, I shot it at box speed. :)
What settings are you shooting the video with? also how are you color correcting this?? it looks dope! i love the yellow tone your videos have.
Seriously, what the hell! I love your photos :'D
really enjoy your videos man. what kind of scanner do you have and would you recommend any for starters ?
Beautiful video!!! What lens did you use in Canon A1?
EduardoPavezGoye whats the name of the band/music? TX!
Your videos are really great! Make more!!!!
great video! can you show how to do double exposure with canon a1?
yi chan hey! you just made me remember double exposure is the reason I bought the A1 in the first place! I shot a roll with double exposure, my shots were really bad and never tried it again. I should do a full roll in double exposure for the next time. great idea! :D
Berlin offers perfect motives
what lens were you using on AE-1? also, I comparing this video with next on Lecia M3 one, I feel the Leica video result in a bit soft to Canon AE1
Hello Eduardo, I have enjoyed the video and I find it very inspiring and encouraging. But still, I got a curiosity regarding the background song, please be kind and let me know the name of the tune! Cheers! P.S. I got an A1, didnt have the chance to shoot with it :)
Is there a situation where you would use aperture priority? (portraits maybe?) As opposed to fixing a shutter speed like I think you did here. Thanks!
0w3ll97 the A1 uses aperture or shutter priority. I don't really like that. I prefer full manual, to be honest. The less the camera intervenes, the better. :)
I never get that type of shots in berlin :D they all look realy mad at me
your photos are awesome!! (i am not self-confident enough to shoot some random people on the street..) do you live in berlin? i love shooting with the kodak portra 400 but this cheap B/W film pictures have extreme intensity! i already have two rolls in my fridge and cant wait to burn some memories in it! Where the pictures at? I was looking forward to see them. But I guess you showed them through out the video right.
You just answered your own question lol
Hola Edo! Saludos
