This video was so helpful! I just picked up my Taycan GTS, I was watching this video while pushing the buttons at the same time. Thank you so much! Looking fwd to more. ❤
Dude, I am not gonna lie, most of them were not secret but indeed hidden features. The one that really is amazing was the one where you can make the carwash key mode. I already drive my Turbo S for almost two years and I swear, I hated when it opened up something during hand wash, this is a life saver!
Thank you. I use that function all the time. Also, nowadays I don’t do a traditional car wash due to water drain issues that Taycan might have. If you drive during the rain or park outside during rain, rear passenger footwell gets flooded for some Taycan. I made a new video about 6 water drain plugs. 👍🏼
Thanks for making the video, I am at 59,000 miles on my 4S and I figured I would know all of the things you mention. But I did enjoy learning about the car wash key disabling number 17 and the windshield wiper maintenance mode number 20. Hope you’re enjoying your vehicle .
@@andreaszallmann9485 I don’t think people read 500-1000 page manual. Some people never read the manual. And, two finger PCM reset is not in the manual.
I hope to be be picking up Cross Turismo this weekend, so I very much appreciate the interesting tips/hacks & smooth presentation Nice job, well edited (. . . and, yes, I assume this info is likely buried somewhere in the manual, but your video is a great time-saver)
Amazing. I didn’t most of these things and I thought I’d had seen every Taycan video! If only there were more multi-finger gestures for that touch screen… hoping they jailbreak the system someday and add additional functionality. Sadly, sounds like Apple Car OS is only coming to the next gen due to better PCM hardware 😢
Mine has Performance Plus Battery which was $6000 🤣 You will love driving a Taycan. It’s different than BMWs. BTW, if you look at my earlier videos, I had 7 series BMW. I love Taycan ❤️
@@TacticalExpedition Thanks for your response. I asked because I was wondering whether the slower base rwd taycan is worth giving up the much faster speed of the M50. I understand the Taycan handles better than the BMW i4 M50.

One cool trick, I wanted to share with everyone. I like to park my car in the Low chassis mode but I don't like when I unlock the car, it defaults to the Standard height. I've realized when you unlock the car, it utilizes the Normal mode. So I set the normal mode to Low Chassis height. Now the car stays in the lowest height at all times. The bonus by doing this is that I like the normal soft suspension with the lowest height for freeway driving. It cruises very well and handles rough roads nicely. I switch from sport plus to normal (Low chassis) when I enter the freeway. So smooth. Just some thoughts I wanted to also share. I didn't know about the hidden tools, compressor, etc. I'll check mine in the morning.
@@TacticalExpedition yes please! I bought one but it didn't fit my 4s. If you could pls show yours with the installation process, that would be awesome!
I've had my Taycan for 1.5 years and never bothered or knew about those compartments in the front 🤦🏿♂️ The wash mode is helpful too, I always open the frunk when I wash.
its kinda a joke, that the big display at the botton in the middle is not configurable for large forward or back buttons for the media. also that you cant press the functional button which has been set to "next track" double times to go back to the last track is not really satisfying. Thx for the video, could have shortend to half of the time by not explaining everything 4 times.
Pretty much covered stuff that was in the manual, or taycanforum in the case of the soft reset. Rear fog lights, heated steering wheel, power windows speed, opening the frunk is all in the manual😂 btw some of what you mentioned are options depending on geographic area. The aircompressor is not included on all Taycans. And lastly, an Easter Egg is a hidden extra by a software developer that is undocumented.
I also own a Taycan and I was hoping to learn some really new and unknown information now. But it was all just regular operation of the vehicle. There was no Easter Egg.

So many things that I did not know

1. how do you use the garage opener (is it on the touchscreen?)
2. why did you get the base and not the 4s?
1. It’s on the touch screen. Geo fence so when I get home, bottom of the PCM screen shows the garage controls
2. I got RWD because of the price. 😔
