Butcher block counter tops with your white cabinets would be pretty. Beadboard back splash. I did that in my kitchen and love it. I also did my island countertop in butcher block and painted those cabinets a green color
I did the same thing- I put stain over antiqued white on a side board. I hated it. I only did a small bit before I figured out I hated it. 😂 It'll be gorgeous green, though!

Fun to watch, as always. About the buffet, I know you will work it out. I love how applying stain and wiping it back off adds an aged look. I do that over painted and painted/distressed things too. I love primitive things, so the more old and beat up it is, the better I like it. 😊 Can't wait to see how you finish it. And early Merry Christmas! 💙

Green is the color. Chalk paint will go right over that and then mix together the clear and dark, not black, wax and go over it. Two weeks to cure and you're good.
