    Very good and informative review thanks, I saw the red variant last weekend in a local bike shop and was really taken with it then. I like that they've toned down the Keeway stickers so that they're embossed on the seat now too. This will be my first bike so here's hoping it's good to me.

    55-60 feels fast enough on one of these, pre breaking it in.... am sure it won't go any faster as a 125 but its comfortable for getting around the small villages where i live and a fun bike to crusie on too my only complaint is a strange biting point until you get used to it

      @Learn Linux I have a keeway RKR 125 I couldn't help but feel comfortable on it and it's got pretty good turning on the handle bars to and its very smooth on the clutch, for cheap it's bodywork is lovely and I can't say 1 bad thing about it. I believe it was £2,300.00 well spent and the insurance is only £500.00 for the year so its really cheap to run as well I would definitely go sit on a few Chinese bikes and see what is comfortable for you there very good value ✌️.

    I am a complete novice and love the look of the Cruisers such as this or a Suzuki Marauder, Sinnis Hoodlum, Kawasaki Eliminator, Hyosung Aquila or a Honda VT125 Shadow etc. For my first bike, would it be sensible to buy second hand (as I may crash in the early days). I have a 45 minute commute, too, along A-roads, would the Superlight comfortably cruise at 60 or is one of the others better? I'm a very chubby chap and 5'8", if I was looking at these in your showroom, what would you recommend? Thanks.

    • @Ridingreviews
      @Ridingreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      if you are going for a keeyway superlight i would say go new because they arnt massively expensive and you get a 2 year warranty and if you new to biking you wont know how to maintain your bike with the warranty you need to keep it serviced to keep the warranty but if you are planning on a yamaha sazuki or honda for about the same price you need to be careful and make sure when you go and see it you take someone in the know most small capacity motorbikes no matter who makes them they get abused by owners

    55 mph for a 125 it's stupid & downright dangerous, whoever dreamed up a law were a spotty 17 year old who has just passed their test can go on 70mph roads/motorways and be safe need's their head looking at.
    When i was that age 125cc bike's would do at the very least 75mph most would do 85mph without any upgrades, then if you were on 70mph roads you were able to keep up with the reast of the traffic and have a little left under the tank if you needed to get out of a tight spot.

      Most 125cc wont quite get to 70 mph now most of the bikes when you were younger were 2 stroke and they are a lot faster but a lot more pollution and a lot more un reliable these bikes are suppost to be slow and heavy its all about the ride not getting to the destination

Thing kept getting stuck in neutral the injectors continuously failing, within a month from new every bolt rusted through then snapped off when trying to replace them and this thing was kept in a dry garage and had all warranty services.
