I recently went from Manchester to Halifax over Saddleworth Moor in very windy conditions. Ok - had to downshift to climb steep inclines but it didn't miss a beat. Stuck to the road and I felt safe. Great riding position. No sore back. Comfortable seat - no sore butt!

I have a 250 model and one of the first things I did was to change the cheap wheel and steering bearings. I also changed the tyres which made such a difference. I did actually do a strip down and re-build which I filmed and put on my channel :)
On my '72 Kawasaki 500 H1Triple, it leaned on it's left with it's kick stand out. I started it with my right hand before I put on my glove. Kickstart only. It would blow the doors off any Harley if they had them or any car for that matter. I kicked it a few times when I first bought it but fell in love.
My mum's got one of these. Went touring in Wales last year. I found that the wind screen actually made wind worse. Above about 40mph it creates a LOT of buffetting, to the point where I'm more comfortable doing my usual bits of light speeding on my naked 650 than I was doing 50mph on mum's Keeway. Took it off - much better. Instead of wind buffetting shaking my head about and adding noise - nice clean air. Y'all should try it, see how much difference it makes. Perhaps there's a market for Superlight screens that don't buffett?
@GILLYBIKES A year and half. Never been on a bike before. They are heavy but I only bumble around slowly. Comfy to sit on, bags on side fir storage and uses no petrol at all.
Just gor mine today. Great bike. I do have a small isue. With my big fot I am struggling with gear shifting. Can distance between gear shift and foot board be adjust?
Great video, very helpful! I'm looking to get a brand new one in the coming months and it's certainly helped. The only thing I'm a bit weary of is the colder months and storing it outside as it's my only option. Do you have any suggestions how to keep it as pristine as possible without rusting or any weather damage to it whilst its sitting out? I do only plan to have it for the duration of cbt so 2 years which in that time will it rust over enough to be difficult to sell? Thanks again
If you’re leaving it outside you will need a good cover. 125cc bikes always sell well on the used market so I wouldn’t worry about that. Rust is always a worry when leaving bikes outside. To prevent it as much as you can you need to keep it clean and cover it when it’s dry and not already soaked. It is very difficult to prevent the rust from coming though.
@@GillyBikes perfect, that does help. I'll be sure to do both, and have a look for some good covers now. Thanks again. Also I'm 6 foot 5 so I hope i won't look silly on it, I've tried the lexmoto lxr and whilst it's a completely different style, the keeway does look like a large bike for a 125
