I’m not sure that would’ve worked the resin seemed to deep right through them differently than the white does. Maybe if I let them cure all the way though and just mod podged them down, I bet that would’ve worked.

Sure I can do a video on that in the future! I use fabric on tumblers with no problem.
I don't know if u like doing long videos but like watching long video when it comes to resin
I always figured people mostly fast forward that’s why I keep them short. TH-cam gives me analytics on each video and it shows that most people only watch about 1/2 of the video by fast forwarding 🤦♀️

You might try using both layers of the other napkin also and still use the glitter. Since it's a thicker material, it may not be as dark.

@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 My HL is horrible. We aren't that small of a town, but yet they'll have like 5 of the seasonal things in stock period. Two years ago I desperately wanted a clover gumball machine that came put for St. Patrick's. I went every day for 2 weeks to check if they put out there stuff. I showed up that last day and none. I asked someone, she said "oh yeah, we only 2 of those". I barely go in my HL now I got so frustrated with them. But mom and I are going to Sam's tomorrow, there is a HL near it, maybe I'll get her to stop. She's alwa6s needing DMC so shouldn't be an issue. 😁

Our HL is in an old Kmart store. Which wasn't a very big store. We do have a semi decent sized Michaels. But if I go tomorrow when we visit Sam's, I'll be at a pretty decent sized HL.
Wow! I didn’t think that I could use napkins with resin! I have a ton of napkins from when I briefly wanted to decoupage things. 😂
I do have one question, can you give any tips with putting the gold on after you remolded everything? Like how did you find a gold that matched the powder gold, (I’m assuming you used a marker?)
Also, any tips or how to get your lines so straight and neat?

The gold pen is linked in the description. You can get it on Amazon or at Walmart sometimes. It just so happens to match the gold! Check my other coaster videos because normally I do show it and how I do it but for sake of time on this one I didn’t go into detail.

They look beautiful,,, I'm surprised you put your resin stick in your glitter tho...doesnt that cause your glitter to stick in its jar?? How much do you charge for your coasters...Im doing a craft fair for coasters..
I only get the glitter that sticks to the stick I don’t let it drop off the stick to ruin my glitter. The pricing question is too hard to answer based on geographic location, technique used, experience, amount of resin and add ins. It’s impossible for me to guess. I don’t sell at shows either so I don’t have that experience. 🫤

Hi Michelle, love your coasters! Was wondering though, if you could advice me on how to protect decoupaged, varnished coasters from sticking to hot mugs, without resin.

I spray my coasters with clear engine enamel. It protects them from heat damage.
