    I remember when the had homes down in Lilydale passed Harriet Island and all the homeowners would have to leave. City bought them out and tore the homes down. I have some great pictures from my parents when it would flood the whole lower West Side.

    I'm from Minneapolis and me and my mother go to St. Paul a lot and seeing how it is now, how Minnesota is ending up right now, dang man, wishing this never had happened, I love my home State, but it is how it is.

    Nice I was just saying that we are just on edge in places to flood roads. Some already blocked due to flooded roads. Amazing that we seem to repeat won't efforts to store this water for farmers when they need it. Sometimes I think we are still primitive folks

    Silly humans building on flood plains... ive never understood it. And also not realizing eventual impacts when building dams...oh well hopefully someday they will learn.

    Not really floods, just nature being nature taking whats hers. We are the problem on the planet.
