Hello and thank you for this presentation, what is the maximum distance between the camera and the remote control (the range in meters of the wifi) I thank you Cordially.
i have 3 questions is it possible to go live with it on twitch? can you charge and film at the same time via a usb c? can you connect an external microphone?
I am a amateur, I want to buy a new camera for recording my travel journey,I am comparing osmo action 4/feiyu pocket 3/osmo pocket 2.which one you suggest me to choose it?
Hi. What do you think is going to be your shooting style? Lots of movements? Calm, easy shots? Will you be shooting mostly in daylight or in low light/indoors with artificial light ?
Have you found any filters or lens protectors for it? I have one and I’m worried about damaging the lens when shooting with the camera gimbal attached to the exterior of a vehicle…
Can you mount the camera on a tripod, then use the remote handle to control the gimbal, while monitoring the footage on a phone? Those tiny little screens are challenging to work with.
So the Feiyu Cam app lets you use the remote handle joystick to control the gimbal remotely while using the app to preview the footage? I saw the handle accessory but not the app being used in conjunction with the remote handle. Looks like a fun little system. I’m curious to see if DJI is going to do something similar with their Pocket 3.
@@shontroelstrup2023 It seems like that’d be too much bandwidth. But maybe if you’re only using the joystick part of the remote and not the video preview. I’d like to know if this is possible too. It’d be great to be able to hook up the phone to a large monitor off camera but still be able to control the camera with the remote.
@@DisgruntledPigumon for context, I put my DJI Pocket 2 on a 10' selfie stick on a tripod to shoot my kids' soccer games for personal use. I can pan/zoom/record using the DJI app on my iPhone from the ground. However, using the flat-screen controls of the phone as a remote isn't as responsive or comfortable as a physical joystick would be. I would like to be able to control the gimbal with an joystick while seeing a low res preview on the phone. This seems like it's doable, but I haven't seen any real confirmation that this can be done. Seems like an easy test for anybody who has one.
@@hadinooradini8684 yes indeed, 60min is the maximum recording time, at 4K it drops down. I just checked my notes and I was able to use the camera module for around 50 min at 4K. The handle will add time but I did not take note of how much longer it would go
Innovative form factor, let down by audio - and you can't plug in a mic. Something like this was the subject of a recent DJI patent, apparently for their Pocket 3. But Feiyu got there first. However, the chances of the DJI version having poor audio, non-focussing lens, small aperture, small sensor, etc etc, is minimal. But it will be more expensive - perhaps radically more expensive if DJI takes this down the semi-pro route, which is possible. The DJI version is said to be due in April, so maybe wait for that and then decide on price/performance.
@@hasseygolf Not sure if I'm getting this wrong, but when you said "He should point that out", did you mean me? I hope you know that Peter mentioned all those things AFTER watching my video, where I did mention that external microphones did not work. There is a lot to say about a device and I can't say everything in the first minute to please everyone's single needs. For you it might be a deal breaker, for others, the resolution, frames per second and stabilization will come first as the most important
@@hasseygolf it’s definitely a huge negative, but for me, not a deal breaker. I’ll just have to continue with recording my audio by wireless mic to my iPhone and sync the A/V in DaVinci.
Hello Otto, thank you for your review. 😊We will collect your useful suggestions for future product development and firmware upgrades. Regarding the built-in radio, except for the professional voice cavity structure, we made noise reduction on the software, which can meet daily use requirements. For the object tracking function, we suggest users try out the APP tracking, the effects would be better.
@@OttoJulian_ I dont believe them and will challenge them again. I am too busy to do a visual test recording, None of the competition do optical so looking at the lens I don't see any mechanical movement of any kind of zoom going on. I believe the staff who answer emails etc haven't a clue about the product. I hard pressed the girl to check with their technical and she came back and said she was told yes......i doubt that, as these companies do li e a lot to get a sale etc. I just received delivery of my second one, but my insta360 Ace pro does 2 x , and I use that a lot as have two Ace Pros, and was hoping the feiyutech would compliment the Ace Pros. The truth is fairly stacked against its zoom as optical, the output is IMHO a cropped but upscaled 4K file, which is why their staff are clueless LOL
I'm having a problem on playback when I play back I hear a clicking sound and the clicking sounds from using the mode button I guess the mic button might be picking it up. Anyway I don't want to mess with the mic button then the volume will be too weak.
Up and down motion can't really be fixed because of the size of the tiny gymbal. It can be reduced but never removed totally. All tiny gymbal suffer from this unfortunately, even DJI pockets.
Thank you Otto. I’m in the market and don’t know if I want to spring on the DJI project 2 or not. By this point it’s so old and $500 for the creator bundle is a bit steep at this stage in its life. This camera could have been great, but I feel it has too many compromises. I guess I’ll just stick to my osmo 4 gimbal and iPhone 14 pro max for now. It’s just big and unwieldy. I want something I can pull out and start recording. Super important when you have small kids. I’ll admit I am a DJI fan boy, I own a mavic pro, air, air2s, mini 2, and mini 3 pro along with my om4 gimbal. But I’m not opposed to buying a competing handheld as long as it actually competes!! Guess I’ll wait to see if and when the DJI pocket 3 comes.
Hello Michael. I understand how you feel. The pocket 2 is still good but as you said, for that price for a device that is that old doesn’t make a lot of sense. If you are used to iPhone quality and DJI quality such as the Mini 3 pro and the Air 2S (you know that the Air3 will be releasing soon right? I’m selling my 2S pretty soon) then I would wait for the Pocket 3 from DJI. This one will not get you the same quality as those devices.
hey there. Maybe I didn't say it right, but the phone is optional. The camera module is completely independent and can be used as is, without the handle and without the phone. You just won't be able to see exactly what you are have in your frame.
@@OttoJulian_ oh, thanks for clarifying. 👍 I would still prefer it is they just made a bigger screen for the next Osmo Pocket. The screen is too small and hooking up to the phone is annoying. Thanks for the fun, informative videos!
