- We're going to just play a fun game this week, I'll try and finish it in one sitting and hopefully I can remember where everything is. The game does "feature" JR East Electric Multiple Unit trains flying by in the background from time to time. Come and visit some fictional city in Japan while we explore and help the little kitty get home.
Why the departure from trains? Well sometimes you just have to.
And you were right. Moved programs to TSW4 and have a lot more memory space.

It is a cute cat. I bypassed a couple of missions because the stream was running a bit long. The good thing is that finishing the game by going home doesn't have to be the end. I can go and do those anytime because I can always climb back up now.
How come Harlem Line on TSW2 was never repaired and the new version was? I play TSW2 and TSW4 back and forth all the time for memory reasons and there are major problems on TSW2 Harlem Line that was addressed to the company and obviously wasn't fixed. I looked at both time tables and they're totally different.
Harlem was updated for TSW3 and carried forward into 4 as compatible content. Fixes are not generally back ported into old versions (this would be no mean feat to do). Even the "compatible" content is actually a TSW4 specific version. That is why we had such massive downloads when TSW4 came out even though we had the content in TSW3 at the time (or 2 if you skipped 3). I've not really experienced TSW4 taking significantly more memory than TSW2 so curious why you need to switch back - are you experiencing an issue?
Remember back when I was having LIRR issues, crashing the system, etc.? There was a question about RAM use. I just took all the older programs and ran them on TSW2 and the new ones on TRW4. Also increased load speed.
I didn't know about the fix problems. Thank you for letting me know.

@@oddfellow831 the memory issues were mainly with consoles and that was resolved with the DLC manager. If anything TSW4 should use less memory for the same amount of DLC.

Two system crashes on LILL Extended since I changed the programs around. Any ideas? All close to Jamaica again. One I was the conductor/brakeman.
@@oddfellow831 when you mean changed the programs around, can you clarify that you ticked the DLC and let steam download them for you?
When I changed from running the old programs on TSW2 and the newer programs on TSW4 and moved them all to TSW4. The problem I had with LIRR Extended reappeared again.
I went through using Sony and Dovetail.
All the same I did last time. Everything was cured last time but took too much memory. Now the opposite.

Sometimes the game does just die, but lets try an experiment - how many DLC do you have ticked/installed right now?
Is there any chance of getting more services for Sand Patch Grade?
@@oddfellow831 I would be surprised. But some other things that old have been remastered so never say never I guess. Someone in the community might do a mod for it too.
The error code on the crash is CE-34878-0. And only on LIRR Extended Scenario Double Duty.

@@trainsimulatordriverI work it right now. Works fine. Just that scenario. Crashed 4 times. I'm running a regular run to Hicksville as we speak.

@@oddfellow831 there's that confusion between memory and storage again. The 1TB is storage. Memory (RAM) between those variants is the same. If you're going to spend money I would encourage ps5 rather than another 4.
