and for what it's worth i would absolutely LOVE watching you make christmas stuff in the fall! i was in the same boat working on fall stuff in july. and it gives people more ideas of what to make with enough time to enjoy them for the holidays
ive only seen a couple of your videos but honestly you seem like such a genuine person and you're definitely going to become one of my go-to TH-camrs to watch when in knitting/crocheting
I am so glad I found your videos!!!! Ty for making them. Watching them while I knit a shawl for my neighbour lol and I relate to needing projects that make your brain tingle - every line of this shawl is different and I am locked in
you've single handedly inspired me to try my hand again at socks !! i made a pair earlier this year, and then i tried to make another pair that DID NOT WORK so i gave up. but im gonna try again because you're in your sock making era AND with colourwork? love to see it and thank you
I’m so excited you posted 😊 another video for me to play while I work on a blanket for my grandma. This blanket has a complicated stitch pattern and I have to read it from a chart so I keep making mistakes and having to undo rows because I have the incorrect stitch count 😅 I absolutely love 9 inch circulars for socks. I usually use a size 2.75 mm for fingering weight yarn or a size 3.25 mm for DK/sport weight.
I'm crocheting a summer top for a friend (yeah it's a bit late 😅) but my head is full of fall ideas! But I need to finish a granny square bag before diving into fall sweaters, cardigans and Christmas presents!!! I don't knit but making socks is why I want to learn it!!! I tryed many years ago and didn't understant it, it was so frustrating! But you and some other People make me want to try again ! 😍😍😍 Your bats socks 😍😍😍
i always find cute summer stuff to make when the weather starts getting cold🥲 socks are fun! especially colourwork as it keeps me motivated to carry on and i was AWFUL at knitting when i first started but it’s all in the practice!!
I had to comment this after hearing you say that you just can't speak!! 🥺 I've been watching your videos and I'm really admiring how you speak so naturally and keep the videos interesting all the time! I wish I could do the same with my videos, I have a hard time getting away from being way too formal 🫢 So just to let you know I love what you do and feel very inspired, it feels almost like talking with a friend❤ I'm sat here with my knitting project and watching all your videos through and loving every bit! 🤩
Can’t believe when I started watching your channel I used to say I can’t get into crochet for the life of me, but now I loooove crochet. I want to start knitting more but I have no idea where to start lol
Have so many socks on the needles and not one pair is close to being done ! So working on finishing those and starting a bright red cardi for the fall ! Your pink sweater is gonna look amazing
I like DPNs for socks...worth a go...took a while to get to grips with them, but love them now and Crazy Sock lady has some great TH-cam videos for all types of sock needles. In terms of size, 2.25mm for fingering weight yarn works well for me. Love your videos.
i’ve tried dpns before but i found them so difficult and found i had laddering issues☹️ however they were metal so that was probably the first issue lol!
@@jazbeth It takes a bit of practice but Crazy Sock Lady suggested pulling second stitch on each needle a little tighter on DPNs, which seems to help laddering. Love your Halloween socks, they are coming on really nicely.
1. I feel like this was a facetime and i’m obsessed 2. we are at the same stage in our sock making journey! my goal is to make stone knit socks too but i’ve never finished even one sock 🤡
I've been in a reading slump all year because knitting took over my life and I really struggle to stay focused on audiobooks. I'm listening to dodgy version of game of thrones on yt that is actually better than the official one and I'm managing to pay attention. Best book I've read this year is The Book That Wouldn't Burn by Mark Lawrence. Magical infinite library. Can't remember the last time I was making to to read rather than just feeling bad I wasbt reading. Beat series ever is Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings. Start with Assassin's Apprentice.
i think everyone is in a reading slump this year! but HEAVY relate on reading because you feel bad that you aren’t reading - instead of just reading for fun🥲 going to look up those books, thanks for the recs!!!
Giiiiiirl why you influencing me to buy tiny circulars !!!!! I am also trying to have 1 project at a time so please stop 😂🥲 Also I feel like there needs to be a club for the girls who started out with crochet and then found knitting and abandoned crochet because why is it so satisfying ? 😫

I LOVE my chiaogoo 9in circulars for socks 🤩 they changed the sock game for me.

mistakes means more practice i say! at least when you finish you’ll be super proud😅 thankyou for the tips on yarn!!🫶🏼
I agree on the rounds thing! I have a sock pattern, and you do one increase row, one normal and she says 'for 8 total rows' but it's 16...8 of each...
Happy TH-cam anniversary! This past weekend was my 1 year of crocheting!!
I'm crocheting a summer top for a friend (yeah it's a bit late 😅) but my head is full of fall ideas! But I need to finish a granny square bag before diving into fall sweaters, cardigans and Christmas presents!!!

for magic loop socks the longer the cord the better!! for socks I use at least a 32 inch circular
yeah i definitely think my needles weren’t the greatest for magic loop so i’m gonna remember that !! thanku!
omg happy birthday to us 🤭
Can’t believe when I started watching your channel I used to say I can’t get into crochet for the life of me, but now I loooove crochet. I want to start knitting more but I have no idea where to start lol
it really is a journey lol! just get yourself some chunky yarn and needles and make a rectangle, i kid you not that was how i started knitting🤣
Have so many socks on the needles and not one pair is close to being done ! So working on finishing those and starting a bright red cardi for the fall ! Your pink sweater is gonna look amazing
9 inch circulars are my best friends!

I love listening to audiobooks while I knit! If you haven't read it already, I'd recommend you listen to The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang!
this has been on my tbr for the longest time and i was actually thinking about it the other day, sooooo im taking this as a sign !!!!!!
girl you showed off the 9 inch needs package and i thought it was empty 😭
pls it really did look like it🤣
1. I feel like this was a facetime and i’m obsessed
2. we are at the same stage in our sock making journey! my goal is to make stone knit socks too but i’ve never finished even one sock 🤡
i fear second sock syndrome will hit me HARD lol but they are so fun aren’t they !!!!
please do bring back the book vids!
