Love your vids. The ones of you flying across the Caribbean are almost cinema verite! Very exciting. Question: what is your rehearsed procedure in the event of an engine out over water? I could never fly over such vast distances on a single engine.
+Jeffs Chips Sure you could. You only need one working engine to do it! The Caribbean is cake compared to Canadian arctic! At least we might get picked up by a cruise ship and be having filet mignon by the poolside. I detailed some of the ditching procedures in this and subsequent posts: mooneyspace.com/topic/18129-201ers-caribbean-adventure-2/?do=findComment&comment=267998

Nice landing!
You make some nice landings Michael. : )
First Sentence: I'm insane Martin! :)
Awesome!!!
So cool! Tell me what camera wing mounts you are using?
Mooney 201er's super special 337, STC, PMA, TSO wing tiedown 5/16 - 1/4 stud adapter =)
What did they charge you per night to land at St. Martin?
It was a lot. Forget how much.
Cost me $500 for 3 nights.
Sounds about right. They charged me like a hundred bucks just to go around the patch. But for the memories, it was worth it.
