The 1931 census records were lost in bombing during WW2, so most people use the 1939 England and Wales Register. There was no census taken in 1941 for obvious reasons. So, the next census to released will be the 1951 census in 2051. Hope that helps.

1920 was the year all U.S. women over the age of (?) could vote in federal elections.
