I really appreciate how jessie explains the cubes feeling and who it is exactly meant for. his experience speaks for itself. hope he does more reviews.
Law of Conservation of Cube Adjustment Features: adjustment features can neither be created nor destroyed, they are transferred between cubes. (ex. Gan removed features from the Gan 15, MoYu added features to the HuaMeng TG)
The turning style spectrum was very helpful in making a decision. Sounds like I would also be on the side of loving this cube, I'm definitely very intrigued.
Classic Moyu pricing, taking a note straight out of Apple’s book. Drive people toward the most feature heavy version by increasing the features alongside the price, but do a big jump for the top cube because you know it’s what most people want anyway
I see this as a great release. $44 bucks for spring, UV, edge AND corner adjustment, decent adjustment system, great performance, and aggresive turning style -- sounds like a win for me. Also I don't think S44 is overpriced. S43 for the v9 and S44 for this -- But you get dual adjustable magnets. i might buy this. Also great video, I love the high upload schedule. 👇
$65 is expensive though because you can get a gan 12,13,14 and 14 pro for the same price or cheaper AND you could still get lube you could get an angstrom or custom gan 14 for a whole 4 cents less!!!!!
here's what I'll say. Pricing is sort of ok and not ok. Price difference for UV coating and maglev compared to normal (frosted) and spring is wild. From that perspective, it makes the price seem wild. But if there was only the most expensive version. Ironically the price would be more justified, as there would be no "comparison" for it.
Can you please guys make a review of the weilong v10 special edition. It would be really interesting to see if a un-teched v10 might be better or not and also to know which one to buy. Btw thanks for the vids guys it’s so interesting and helpful
Welp my addictive personality got the best of me. I just started cubing like 3 months ago (used to use a stock rubiks, like 20 years ago lol) Started with YS3M, then got an Tornado V4, now I ordered this cube. I honestly love them both and rotate between them as my daily drivers. We shall see what I think once it shows up. (Doesn't ship until the earliest Nov 1st, fingers crossed it ships that day lol) That said I do only average around 1.5 minutes, so a lot of room to grow in my speed cubing. I might not be the best source for how they feel lmao.
@@mercury3 I GOT IT!!! It is honestly my favorite cube. I think I like it the most then it's close between the Tornado V4 and YSM3. I love the YSM3 but I cant seem to dial it in to where I want it exactly, the Tornado I also love but even at the tightest settings it feels a little loosy goosy to me lol. The TG however lets you really dial in the settings. I started high and it seemed too tight for me. But there are enough adjustments to get it feeling perfect. I do also use a mix of DNM-37, FZ Rush, FZ Calm, and Traxxas 10k on my cubes. 50k is a little too thick, but maybe I should try it on the the Tornado V4 to slow her down a bit. To me the TG is flippin awesome though. I love it! Yeah it is a little pricey but I think it is scratching my itch on my quest for the cube I wanted. I wont be buying another 3x3 any time soon. My spouse is awesome though and got me a 4x4 for our anniversary. She got the AoSu V7 4x4 3 track and I am also now hooked on that cube as well. Took a little getting used to the extra algorithms for the 4x4 but I am getting it down. Struggling with the dang parity algs, they are SO long lmao. For my first 4x4 I think I am set too, it turns so dang smooth too lol. Next on my list is a 5x5!
@mercury3 one thing I did forget to mention is the the corner cutting on the TG is probably the least desirable of my 3 cubes. But for me it doesn't bother me much because I have the magnets at max. So it's not often pieces don't line up and clash
3:03 - OMG I just came home from a mechanics exam (including rotational mechanics), and one of the first videos I watch of course has to remind me about the moment of inertia.
As someone who has bought and used both cubes extensively, both are very good, but I prefer the Huameng. Very slept on cube and I enjoy it a lot. Love how fast, quiet, and smooth it is. Stable too
3x3 prices are just getting stupid. I can buy a uv coated, magnetized 5x5 for this much money. Who is buying these when theyre so obviously overpriced?
I think MoYu are really just copying Gan at this point by releasing their most expensive cube shortly after the annual Gan flagship two years in a row.
Gan: 1296 combinations
Moyu: 1296 cubes

@ClockSolver yep that is my whole point those price differences are outrageous
Huamang TG or the fanxin hudong? I'm curious which do guys prefer more (in their highest variant)
the core looks more thick and sturdy , im not gonna be afraid of the core stripping anymore
MoYu is going through puberty and has no clue who they are lmao

Is their any modern good cubes available in stickered. Kind of a die hard sticker cube man.
What I think about this cube ? I wanted it the moment I saw it, then I heard the price.
Is it better than fan 15 because its in that same price range

Gan: Removes all adjustments and makes moyu cubes.
Moyu: Makes 1296 adjustment cube and makes gan cubes. also tv3 cube.
They just changed the boxes edit style and made the cube have more fps :D
I used to main the ys3 and seeing that this is very different I'm probably not gonna get it. It looks cool tho!
Does anyone here know what lower cost cube has a similar feel to the Huameng TG? I want a cheaper version because I want to use the cube in public.
