Like you I purchased the TBT drop in kit... all I can say is I experienced the same problems as you and ended up ditching the top hat and power washers, safe to say that I won’t be buying any more of these kits, as this is the second one I’ve bought and fitted - the first one the top hat broke after less than a hundred shots (stoeger x20) and I replaced it with a Titan top hat (excellent) and then this one for the Remington express that you have to dispose of half the contents to get the gun to work!

Hi there great video can i ask to take the whole trigger unit out from the gun do you have to take the safety mechanism out or could you leave it in when fitting new spring.Thanks.Allen
It'll be properly finished at both ends and also clean and free of rust. It's just generally a better quality and more consistent spring which is important for accuracy.
Was looking forward to parts 3 & 4 but can't find them. I have a Remington Warhawk, basically the same gun, but underlever so hoping to improve it's handling, as although it's fine powerwise it does tend to have some sideways movement when firing and using the 'artillery' hold. I assume this will be down to build quality, spring, guide and seal and like yours, will need some fine tuning and polishing to remove burrs etc. I have a Weirhauch HW 77 which doesn't have these wayward characteristics, and a 1970's BSA Airsporter which has been tuned prior to me buying it and fires perfectly and accurately. Enjoyed the videos, but can't find 3 & 4
Yes real difference. Is a lot smoother action. The power is increased to what I do not know without chrono. The accuracy is also better tried with hn excite hammer 22 and pest control dome 22 bsa I think. Better grouping than with original spring

The safety mech must be removed, disassembly is impossible otherwise.

Hi, just watched your videos after picking up a rem, express to tune, great vids mate, what sort of power did you get out of it.??
Nothing crazy I was wanting consistency, was around 10.5 foot pounds.
What pellets does ur rifle like as I’ve got the same and don’t rlly have money to buy sample packs and test then
