Big Fish on Light Tackle: Surf Fishing Fort Morgan

- In this video I went out after some pompano and whiting. The conditions were not the best, the water was a little dirty from the rain we've had. I was able to hook into a good size fish on the lightest tackle I've ever used from the beach. I ended up having quite a bit of action even though it wasn't exactly what we were after.

Looks like a wonderful day on the beach with the calm waters
Yes it was! Finally got some good weather around here
Cool video brotha! I love fighting big fish in the surf with light tackle - so much fun! Looking forward to more videos!
Thanks bro! Got some cool stuff coming up this spring!
Hi Brad, like your videos. I know how you feel on a lost fish. I still sob on my lost fish, when l was fishing next to you last summer. I will be out there tomorrow morning. I got some fishgum on reserve to get some big fish. Watching from Foley Alabama.
Cheers.
Let me know how you do tomorrow!
@@BeardedBrad92 will do.👍
Rotten fishing. Great day at the beach!
I’m glad I found your channel!
Watching from just down the road in Pensacola.
Thank you!
Watching from TN
Thinking of visiting dolphin and Island this week and would like to know the best place to fish from near Fort Morgan
Brad really nice videos keep it up. Here from Pensacola
Thanks man!
Great vid! The biggest downside of light leader the pop off! Stinks man but great fight! Where did it break off at?
Broke off at the swivel
What determines the use of a "single" drop or a "double" drop pompano rig use ?
Usually depends on what bait I’m using and how the fish have been acting. When I use ghost shrimp, I usually will just use a single drop and tie it high targeting pompano. Double drop is usually used when I’m targeting pompano, but also expecting bites from whiting or reds. The double drop helps cover more of the water column. Hope that helps
I’m watching form Foley Alabama 😁I never knew we had TH-camrs in the gulf coast to be honest
Awesome! There’s a few of us locally that are TH-camrs. I’m pretty new to it and working on growing my channel!
I’ll make sure to tell my friends and family about your TH-cam 😁
That would be awesome! Thank you!
Bearded Brad I'm willing to learn how to start a fishing TH-cam channel ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Which beech, what state nearest city, town, ??????.
I never mix my baits . Better bites with the sand flea bites on the dead shrimp?
I like adding fish bites or FishGum with the fresh dead shrimp because it’ll last longer. If something steals the shrimp, the fish bites will still be on the hook
You'll get a bigger one next time , enjoyed the video 👌🏾
Thanks dude!
Dang it man! So close! Did you get to see the size?
Nope! I saw it surface for just a second but that was it.
I'm watching from ventura,ca
Awesome, thanks for watching!
New Southern Indiana SUB, here from Maddog Fishing. Coming down in July for a week, hoping to hook up on some keepers.
Awesome! Thanks for the sub!! Lots of opportunities in July!
How about a cleaning and cooking your fish segment.
It’ll happen one of these days!
That’s what I want to see. A how too when it comes to cleaning and some ways of cooking. Also your setup for fishing would be cool. I want to get a saltwater setup for myself just have no idea what to look for.
I can do a video of my setups.
St Augustine Fl
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
