My thoughts go out to all those who have been affected by this tragedy. Daniel, that's incredible footage. Thanks go out to all the great firies, they are always hard at it, in some of the worst bushfires across Australia. Thank you. Cheers from Adelaide, South Australia
One of my best friends nearly lost their home in this. Sent me photos this morning of the front yard all burnt and fire buring their neighbours properties
A big thank you to the New South Wales rule fire service and fire and rescue for their big effort in the Kurri Kurri Bush fire a massive thank you 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sadly this shows our complacent attitude to being fire prepared, no enough controlled burns, slashing, clearing of undergrowth and green waste are being done around high risk urban areas, like hospitals, shopping centres, homes that back onto bush land and railway corridors .... a clear, clean buffer zone is imperative as is being pro-active and not leaving it till something as tragic as this occurs...the RFS need to step up and demand more is done & not pander the Government pressure
Correct, Australia has an abundance of water but all of it just flows out into the sea. We need inland dams and water diverted to them. But the overpaid, useless beurocrats sitting in air conditioned offices in the middle of cities have no idea of this. We need people with vision and experience to lead us.
My nan's house was demolished in that fire, she lost everything but the clothes on her back. I've started a gofundme. Please help and contribute. Link in replied comment

Was with the Fighting 500 at Windale for 7 years..
They want to re-open the railway through there in 2025. With the extreme heat this Summer, we can expect the same within that time
Ive witnessed first hand a fire suddenly changing direction. Ya lucky to make it out alive from it
