- Here’s a #fpv around different (non-Skid Row) neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The homeless population is exploding and taking over the sidewalks, bike lanes and even taking over whole streets in some places. An abandoned, burned down building resembling a dump has become a small community for a few of the Unhoused. I also went to Long Beach Blvd on Compton where the professional are but there was literally only two on the streets.
What do you guys think the local government should do about this ongoing problem???

Is it a state or local issue? Some 30 years ago, the CA state decided to close state mental hospitals and turned over responsibility to local county and city governments. Of course the counties and cities were not prepared or funded.
I don't think either side of the political spectrum will fix this, sure Newsom is truly awful but all political crooks are corrupt at this point and nothing but a complete clean out will result in changes that matter imo

When I use to think that LA was a beautiful city, Disneyland, Water World, movie stars, beautiful mansions and beaches l’ve always wanted visit, now I have second thoughts. It looks so filthy, drugs needles on the street and prostitute hardly wearing anything walking the street in broad daylight. It looks so dangerous

Gavin loves this. The more bodies he gets, the more votes he gets. It doesn't matter if they vote or not, it's increasing the number of seats in the HOR.
If you start a non profit that adresses a social issue such as this crisis the federal govt has grants and apartment buildings and land they will give you to help you clean up this blight. All the wealrh surrounding this poverty. Greed caused this by driving up the cost of living so they could fill their pockets qith more money they could ever wven apend in 100 lifetimes. Now you stinking filtby rich person you will have to put out some of that money to fix this
