How can you get air bnb combos down so well? Every time I try to do combos while in the air I try to mash the correct combos as fast as I can but it just results in me panic pressing.
for most aerial combos (that use jLL j2H djLL) the trick is to buffer the double jump L before the j2H has ended, if you look at my inputs on the left at 0:33 i'm already doing the double jump even tho the 2H animation did not end, it's kinda tricky at first but you will get the hang of it, Maximillian Dood made a video about it long ago but it's still viable atm : th-cam.com/video/XtYw3mt3HMw/w-d-xo.html

I like the new seperation between the gokus. SSJ is now build like a solid zoning anchor while Black gets to bully people with big ol’ normals. The old problem was that Black’s gigantic moves never mattered because SSJ could do the same thing with 2m
Is it just me, or in first corner combo 3:16 doesn’t there need to be a jM after 2M-5M before the jS? :) Just so everything is completely transparent for us scrubs😅
on the first corner combo why not just drop the delayed 5m it works the same, is is just for damage it’s only 100-200 damage off in exchange for a more consistent option
something i picked up from experimentation is that after a Jumping 214M when the character sticks to the wall you can go for a Knockdown by dashing forward and doing your JH. He bounces off the wall and you can do you JH for an easy knockdown. if thats what you want to do. It can be done when youre trying to end the match and level 3 or something

Why do you not record this move with ur traningsdummy, so the frames been counted and we see what u do on what exactly frame? I dont fukin know, if am to late/early with the sd OOORRRR the JH ... OORRRRR even freakin both. Can some pro record this with that trainingsdummy?
XxNova Zayn the timing on it is super strict if your having trouble then try it on big characters like broly or cell first. Also I found turning off air recovery helped but that just might be a me thing

So far I've noticed: * Combos following certain button starters (2m, 5m, j.h etc) * Combos that start near walls which incorporate the wall towards the end of the combo * Combos that can only be done at a wall * Combos following assist confirms * Corner carry * Side switching towards walls * Meter build combos * Hitstun-specific combos Is there anything else that I'm missing? Also what is the value of a combo that doesn't end with a sliding knockdown?
Combos are mainly used to deal damage, but depending on what the first hit on the opponent was (in neutral, after a mix up, on wake up, etc) you can do different combos to maximize the damage while still being able to end with the ender you want without reaching the hitstun decay (in this game combos can only last for 10 seconds, cinematic hits such as super attack or smash attack pause this timer for a few frame, once a combo reached 10 seconds, each hit will only have 1 frame of hitstun, which basically makes things like infinite combos impossible, but some moves are immune to that rule, like the last hit of a dragon rush for example) Combos that requires the corner or others specific locations tend to deal way more damage than the regular midscreen combos which is why they are used quite a lot (in this video you can see that Goku Black does 5100ish damage near the corner while from midscreen he can only get 4400ish) Combos with more meter build also helps, sometimes it's better to do a combo that do 4700 and build 3 bars than doing one that does 5000 and build 1 bar, because with these 3 bars you can follow up with 3 level 1 which can kill the opponent, but this is somewhat situational The assists to extend combos are just to get more damage, with combos that are optimized enough, you can get a kill with two touch by using your assists for the following combo (but it mainly depends on the character's ability to deal decent damage) Since this game has a lot of wake up options (except when it's a hard knockdown (off level 3)), during Season 2 the meta was to combo into a dragon rush to snap them out, which locked out their assist and made them come out at a precise timing, which allowed you to continue the pressure with mix up, and you could loop them like that until they died but now that snap was nerfed you need to find other option, which is where combos that don't end with a sliding knockdown can be handy, with some assists, after a soft knockdown you can do setups that will lead to Okizeme or mix ups, that wouldn't work off a sliding knockdown (some of these setup works out of any knockdown), also, some characters sadly just can't end most of their combos with a SKD by themselves Example with Cell j2M and Tien B assist at 0:08 twitter.com/Shk0do/status/1242260317868097541?s=20 Some of these setup requires the corner which is also why corner carry and sideswitch combos matters, but all of these things are only important if you play this game to win matches, if you just do the others content available in the game (arcade mode, training flashy combos) then none of this is really important

It isn't possible to do the first corner combo in training mode. No matter how much I delay, the 5H whiffs every time.
For the dive kick combos you can do it even little bit further away from the mid screen

Jump is the same as 8/9 right? How can you make combos in the aire while pressing Jump (8) like j2H or j236M, do you press really fast 8 or what?

Just do the maximum delay as possible, is so strict, or do slighty delay j.M delay j.H. Just keep trying :)
