@@Someguy96Lx In this season I agree. I like him as my mid the most though. With teen gohan upfront he can use the meter that this little runt has built before. Cell with a little meter to spare is devastating. I love his ex perfect attack

@@Someguy96Lx not that good for anchor, cell is a character that have more potential with assist so he is a pure point or if you want you can run it on mid but it's highly recomended to use it as point, i can say this because i main cell since season one. The strong of the characters are mix ups and damage, and the really high damage he do it with assist both of them and well mix ups in general requires assist so he need to be on point. Maybe you can put it in mid if you got a character that is for point too like A18 or teen gohan

Whenever I try to connect the jS in the air after lights it always whiffs. Do I need to delay the S or is it a height thing what do I need to do to make it so it hits them right next to cell when he calls it?
For me, Cell is the best villain of DB. Much more that Frieza.

I'm having trouble with the first combo, when I do the heavy the opponent keeps on falling out and i have no idea why. It's like the heavy can't reach them

Once you learn as a Cell that j5S connects to j2M your world changes

total new comer to tag fighters in general. This video is great but I was wondering if you have a good beginner combo video? Also when I was trying the one at 0:49. I can get that combo down just fine until the jS at the end. No matter what they're always able to recover after the special hits and j236m wont connect. Is there a timing to it?

For the midscreen combo(0:00-0:20) doing the LL j.c MLLH>S>236M seems to be the only reliable way to land the bnb. Is there a reason for this? Even doing LL j.c LL>S>236M causes the 236M to whiff. Similar with ML j.c LLH>S>236M though that seems to miss on characters like kid buu.
You can do jLL djLMLH jS j236M aswell, but that will whiff on Bardock if you don't delay jL dl jL and will deal less damage on Medium+ characters
The reason why you have to use jLL djMLLH jS j236M is because not only it does more damage, but you also need to be at a specific height to land j236M midscreen, and that route does just that, you can also do whatever string into jS j236L, but that's overall less damage and a worse oki
@@KuwangerKRT Ah! That makes sense. The version you showed definitely does more damage, but sometimes I go into autopilot and I was curious to see if I could still land the 236m in the cases I do, like a backup. Didn't know it was a height issue. Thanks for clearing that up :)

Kuwanger can you do the midscreen big body loops without a rejump? I can't do rejumps but I still want to try he big body midscreen loops and I think I say moldy bageal do them without the rejump.
Corner bnb does not work as well for some reason, a lot of these extend combos will now drop, like there's less hit stun
Can you please do an updated Tien and/or Trunks? I feel like these 2 really got some great stuff in the S3 Patch. Trunks got new combo routes altogether, and a solo TOD! Tien got mixup and damage buffs, especially with his 5S change. I'd really like to see all the routes these 2 gained!

Is there a particular reason as to why you delay some of those Rolling Crushes in the corner?
Guessing the sickest character to you is Thiccolo?
Piccolo is OD but Trunks was created to be the coolest DB character
the higher they are before 236M, the higher damage it will do, so to get the max damage off it you need to slightly delay it after jS, but that can mess up the hitstun decay in long combos so i don’t do that when i plan on using assists

To maximize his damage (which is one of the main reason he is played) yes
But before these were discovered Cell was still played, you don’t have to do the most optimal combos to use a character, but doing so definitely helps

5:11 don't need jMLL just jML at start same damage
I get 10 more damage by doing jMLL. jMLL gives 4655, while jML gives me 4645 lol
What happened to Goku's 2M ?
Increased startup frame (from 10 to 14)
Increased range and active frames
Increased recovery (from 5 to 10, which means that doing 2M into nothing is now punishable by moves with less than 10 frames of startup)
Basically it’s now a move with more reach but way slower, so some specific combo routes doesn’t work anymore and he can’t use that move to stagger like he used to
The devs said that they did that to add more differences betweens the Gokus (they were already different enough imo but it is what it is)

This combo is a very strict one, you have to inputs everything as fast as you can or else you will reach the hitstun decay limit
