Tbh i kinda just skip a part of the first combo, from J2H to JS i just go to 236H after my brain can't comprehend to double jump and then just immediately going back to combo
am i the only one having a really hard time learning the 2h combo, ive probably tried for about 4 hours and i cant even get the first half in muscle memory. maybe im doing something incredibly wrong but the corner combo i was able to get in an hour but with the 2h combo i cant get consistency to save myself
I'm new and I don't know 100% of the mechanics in the game and I've been looking for videos on how to cancel animation and I can't find one so can you explain how to cancel the animations for the 5H before the 5S and the J2H after the 2JL in the first combo?
Idk what you mean with the 5H before the 5S, but, about the j2h, I’m guessing you mean j5L, j5L, j2H, (cancel), j5L, j5L… That is called a *jump cancel* it’s when you skip the animation of an attack with a jump after the hit is received You may want to loop up jump cancelling on youtube
the super dash needs to hit them to stun them long enough to let you get the 214m off. Lets try this, lets take a few steps back the the 5S. Make sure to cancel the animation of the 5S after it hits, by going into the 236S. Cancel the animation of the 236S by SD. Once the SD connects, then quickly activate the 214M. let me know if canceling the previous moves helps at all. Doing this should keep the stun more consistent, and should give you enough time to 214M. Side note: I think it's enough to just cancel the 236S into SD then cancel the SD into 214M

any assist that pushes the opponent away like a beam does, will not work with this combo. it needs to be an assist that doesn't blast them away from you

I'm not new but I am just returning after a long time. if I didn't know any of the notations or the moves or really anything general, I'd be completely lost. If your point isn't to make guides that everyone can understand, that is fair. This isn't a go at you, just bringing up what I've experienced. But otherwise good guide!
some combos are certainly harder than others that's for sure, but i translate all notations in the description, not to mention during the video i speak the notations in simple terms all can understand that way no one has to know notations to follow along.
The annotations he’s using is commonly used online in the fighting game community. It can be confusing/difficult to grasp at first for people unfamiliar but it makes learning different games super easy because a lot of guides are written using the same annotations.
whats wrong with saying things like down and heavy. those are universal to all consoles and its even what the game calls the moves. Also, just in case people watch it muted, i have all the notations FULLY translated in the description for people who dont know what notations mean. with all that, is it really too hard to follow the combo along after 5 min of playing the game.
why, i speak the termonology in a translated way so anyone can understand it and i even translate it again in the description for people who are new. So instead of saying 5m i say standing medium, instead of 2H i say down heavy.

For the corner combo you can add a Medium attack after the first super dash for a lil extra dmg, this combo also TOD with spark lv1 lv1 lv3

SJ= กระโดดสูงขึ้นมาก

im finishing my 214M input even before the SD hits and its just not spikiing them down

What is j2h I know j means jump. So do I press up then down an h at the same time?
this is probably a bit late but it just means that you down h while airborne instead of adding an up to every attack, hope this helps
