Your icon with circles and the dot is a jewish esoteric ilustration of the moment of Creation. The dot on top is the first mark in creating the letter Ÿud which is the first letter of the four making up the ¨name¨ of God that jewish people never pronounce out of respect. The distance from the top to the center is the fine thread of light that enlightened the darkness . The light came from the infinite space above the circle called the Ein Sof, ¨Nothingness¨. That nothingness is the infinite Mercy beyond our finite limited understanding..( the light of Kabbalah)
mon ami M.SAMBA nous avons commençés a la même époque a l'ecole du jazz "CIM FRANCE " ET a l' ECOLE EMANUEL BOURSAULT ,batteur très doué ! très sympathique !

I wonder. And WR was/is one of my favorites, but they seem like they may have been the “warm-up” ensemble for the Syndicate?!? Grieving Wayne Shorter right now. His talent will never be forgotten or replaced.
@@susanjohnson2068 They were both great, with completely different styles. The Syndicate is much more rhythm based, but I do agree, the magic Joe was able to create with the Syndicate is out of this world.
Zawinul, truly a third-worlder. I wonder if if it was ever argued to him that third-world cultures are backwards and inferior and that his admiration was misguided? He would probably have responded by saying that there are more important things than material things, trade, industry, economy etc. i.e only feelings matter. He was an artist afterall. Zawinul, truly a believer in the oneness of mankind.
I think talent like his and ability for “fellow” talent happens very rarely. Plus his music continued to grow, mature and change. He is greatly missed but will be remembered for generations.
I think I found all titles now. Maybe I made some cuts: 01 Introduction to a Mighty Theme (3:07) 02 Waraya (7:31) 03 Slivovitz Trail (8:34) 04 Dina Cam (1:15) 05 Gypsy (12:46) 06 My People (13:20) 07 Bimoya (10:13) 08 Mi Gente (12:35) 09 You Want Some Tea, Grandpa? (7:19) 10 Carnavalito (5:17) Let me know, if anyone finds a mistake.
i know what you mean................. I was there at the north sea that year. Absolutely brilliant. The thing with Zawinul concerts was that you never knew what to expect. Because of that, they were never boring.

Not their best perfomance. But its always a thrill to see Joseph at work
Not his worst either.
Bona mind-blowing here, though
Not really feeling your point, man! Check the independence of his two hands 14:00-16:00ish.
Saw Joseph's Syndicate at North Sea Jazz Festival that's why. That was Pure magic. This is 'just' very very good.
