Best hulk movie so far. Truest to comic book. Better actor for the role in my opinion and the abilities they gave the hulk were spot on. Marvel has not gave this iconic figure its full justice and I do not understand why

I don't understand why people don't like it, preferably underrated.. But this movie has more depth in the character of hulk, father issues, experimentation, losing a mother, anger issue's... And finally why America always see everything as a threat and how mistreated he is still in the hills he tries to be peaceful but nobody lets him, understand hims even his own father... This guy lost everything and still try to live for his love.
I feel like what people don't like is the cinematography. The movie is a like a comic and feel like the editors enjoyed so much on the transition effects of windows movie maker.

I was just saying I liked the actor Eric Banna as Hulk, he was more of a ''serious'' hulk if that makes sense but the movie was slow and could have been better. Not the actor himself but the movie. Should have honestly been a sequel for more action and to really showcase the hulk. I like the MCU too though.

Tanked a nuke at point blank range.. A nuke similar to the one that bailed out the Avengers in 2012(could have destroyed all of Manhattan).. The lake couldn't protect him.. Even Ross said it, suggesting it was definitely lethal 2. He was fighting a guy who can generate electricity 6 times stronger than that of Thor, which knocked out Hela.. Let me break it down.. Assuming Asgardians are 3 times stronger than normal humans, San Francisco is 18 times stronger than the biggest lightning on earth.. So if Hela was knocked out long enough for 5000 people to board a spaceship, The Absorbing man will definitely have more than enough time to kill her.. Imagine Hulk was fighting this guy while the other one was getting spanked by Hela's pet.. lol
I've yet to sit through an Avengers movie I can't get into it they lose me like 30 minutes in. But the DC movies are great I think marvel movies were better before Disney got their hands in the mix.
A few interesting technical things: 1. The ball thing is called a Gammasphere, which is a real piece of equipment meant to create unnatural phenomenon inside nuclei. 2. The helicopters that attack Hulk in the desert is a now cancelled stealth helicopter called the RAH66 Comanche (RAH := recon and attach helicopter). It was cancelled because per unit cost was too high and the Army (the chief buyer) wanted to invest in drones instead. IIRC they only built two so seeing four here is insane lol 3. In the bridge fight later on in the film, we see an F22 fighting the Hulk but I imagine the F22 is a bit popular so I won't touch any details.
Interesting fact is, that in 2003 Raptor F22 was not in service, it comes only in 2005. Probably not so many people actually knows what aircraft it is, at the time.
And the gammasphere here was 15 tons and he lifted it and flung it like it was nothing... Those comanches are like mini f22s with rotors instead of thrusters

This hulk was the only hulk who had some similarities with the comics, like : Hulk grew bigger the angrier he gets, Hulk emitted gamma radiation (during the fight with the dogs & in the final battle), healing factor was shown also can jump higher distances.
I agree. This was the best Hulk movie, and the back-story of how he came to be made more sense than simple exposure to gamma rays (which would just have killed Banner). The follow-up movie, Incredible Hulk, was more like an episode of Ben 10, in terms of its plot, and it seemed more like a sequel to the TV series in terms of how he came to be Hulk.
What I love most about Eric Bana’s performance is the realism of the anger he shows. I get angry easily and I’ve been as angry as Bruce gets in a lot of these scenes and it’s fucking phenomenal how real and raw it is with the way him or the hulk scream or many other things instead of how the MCU is just “raaahh I hulk now” with maybe age of ultron being the closest we’ve gotten to this good.

While as a kid I always thought the jet flew too high and left the earth’s atmosphere, in reality, the F22 would just have just fallen back down once exceeding its ceiling (~60,000 feet) Even if the classified operational ceiling irl is higher, it wouldn’t be enough to leave Earth’s gravitational pull. The F22 is a marvel of engineering, but it wasn’t designed for that. It would eventually lose thrust, and plummet back down. The pilot would regain consciousness, the air would be normal, and the pilot would regain control and either fly it back to base or continue the mission.
It still amazes me how realistic they made the hulk look. You can tell they put some serious elbow grease and overtime into making the hulk look this realistic
