This video helps a lot. No way with only the manual. But, man, this the hardest and weirdest thing I've ever assembled. Connecting the pole to the base is the worst part, it's a nightmare, because, I don't no why and for no good reason, for the two connections they choose 2 kinds of screew completeley different from all the others, and the hardest to use, in the more difficult (and dangerous) step of the assembly.
Every lil edit cut you see is where they spent 10 mins beating bolts into place while 2 other adults help pull twist and beat as well. This crap was hard to put toggether and these instructions are not very clear. Step 2.7 - very difficult to add the bolts in such a small space. Step 3.4 - very difficult to tighten bolts as can't get spanner into support while turning. Step 3.5 extremely difficult to get both parts to meet to attach and the tighten. Why have a short screw like that? Such a bad design. Video gives the impression it's easy, It's not! Also video gives the impression that bolts are all fully tightened, you need to leave loose to align eveything up and then tighten. Should also not assume eveyone has the tools you have used in this video. Took over 5 hours to put together.

Look up another video. I did same. Have to drop it a couple times from waist level horizontally. By couple times i mean like 50. Lol
@@joshuahensley3782 The drop method doesn't always work with the skinny poles which is why we recommend reaching out to our customer service team for new parts. Glad to hear that it worked for you, though!
You can remove poles if they get stuck! In a grassy area lift it up and throw it down horizontal and after a couple throws the poles will come apart. There is troubleshooting on it if you Google it.
Just finshed put togheter max1h is not so bad, only one think need to dreel
It is 5 am and I'm in tears. I spent several hours yesterday trying to assemble this basketball hoop system for my kids. I had to go and buy other tools smh but I got it together until!!!!! I got to the base and putting the screw through the feet. It just does not come through the left foot far enough to put through the right foot and put the bolt on. My kids are so disappointed and so am I! A huge waste of time and money.
I'm sorry you're having trouble with the feet assembly on this system. Give our customer service team a call and they can walk you through the steps on the base assembly and can help figure out what's happening. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (MT).
I called your customer service and the man was of absolutely NO help! NONE!!!! He said I need a socket wrench, I bought a whole set but the screw has to come through the foot so I can fasten the bolt.
He then said that was all he could tell me other than maybe I was using the wrong screw WHICH I'M NOT.
We are sorry our customer services team couldn't help you with your issue. Please email us your number to installationservices@lifetime.com and we will contact you.
Can i ask is this a bit shakky than the straight foot one ?
Going to return, impossible to assemble. Will take 3 hours if you don’t quit or hurt your left before then. Not worth the time regardless of price.
What part of the assembly are you having troubles in? We'd love to help you and give you tips and tricks on how to have an easier assembly.
You have to be at least a little handy to do this
Looks same sa Kmart"s 🤔
You should show the actual bolts that are being used. Mines aren’t marked and I’m having to guess
On the right side of the screen you will see the hardware needed for the section and the diagram of what it looks like. You can also match up the hardware to the manual as the picture of the manual is the same size of the actual bolt.
@@LifetimeProductsAssembly what I purchased is actually different. It’s the 1221 model
Didn't touch the manual at all. Just follow this video step by step, set aside 2.5 to 3 hours, have at least 2 adults working, have the power tools, and you'll be all set!
How irreversible is the irreversible bit - pole is upside down?? 😡
Spare a though for all the fathers on Xmas morning
This is the worst install ! Step 3.5 bolts don’t fit all the way thru!!!
How do I assemble this I have model90999
90999 is a kayak model and does not require assembly. Do you have a basketball model number possibly?
This sucks!!!! I got it put together but never again
So hard to do this togueter garbage
Avoid this product, very difficult to assemble. Don't tighten bolts as will lead to miss alignment
What were you having troubles with specifically? We'd love to know what we can improve on.
Never make instructions again, the video does show anything the right way and the screws don’t fit
👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿🫵
It took me 5hours to built it up, aint worth the money
This is why you pay me to assemble it for you😂😁😁😁😁
