Loved how the deck was displayed at the beginning, looked good and was clear what everything was. Very helpful when learning more about the game to be able to reference that.
This deck is fire
Really
ba dam tss
I used to play the TCG quite a bit. Uh oh, you’ve successfully given me the itch again. Great content as usual man!
I managed to pull charizards and moltress ex while being F2P, so now I can play it :) its super fun thx for the decklist Jeff
That highlight intro was clean Jeff. Shoutout to the new channel, loving the Pocket content.
Oh boy seeing Moltres flip 3 coins is amazing, me with my water Misty decks could never know what that feels like
18:15 Dear past Jeff: How right you were.
My initial take on trainer cards being in the shop rather than packs is that I'm a fan. Is it supports as well? So far I'm getting many positive vibes from this project.
Cant wait for this to release.
Does having one less copy of moltres ex make this deck much worse or is it still playable
Your absolute best draws start on Moltres, but you can probably still win plenty of games on a budget for a bit.
There is always one consistent thing about Charizard in Pkmn TCG. He always does DAMAGE! Like obscene amounts of damage since the mid 90s.
Just getting into pokemon TCG's for the first time with this game. Would love a tutorial vid from you!
The in game tutorials are really through for the basics. Make sure you do the optional solo missions for extra rewards and tutorial stuff.
Been running since launch (no ponyta rapidash to keep basics pool clean and red card instead for minusing oponent/fixing tempo). Main issue is it feels so bad when you are missing one of the 4 pieces you need. Charmander starting is so bad unless you get x speed and another basic immediately after otherwise you breaking your own tempo if you have to attack and risk killing your evolution line.
it's true, you never know what's going to happen next
still not sure this wouldn't be better with the doduo/drio instead of rapidash because of the free retreat and same damage points and can slightly diversify your weakness spread
80 vs 100 on the stage 1 is a big deal IMO
It might be too early to tell but what are the advantages of the Ponita line over the Salazzle line or not running any of them to increase your chances of getting Moltres and Charmander from your Pokeballs?
When you are trying to build up to Charizard on your bench, you want your primary attacker to only use one energy.
Having a third Pokemon means you have to start on Charmander less often which is very bad for you.
Jake wants to be a tuber as well😂
All the kids do.
*I wonder if they will ever have resistances.*
Probably not. I think they want to keep things pretty streamlined. Damage and HP values feel pretty well rounded to compensate.
Not exactly F2P friendly as you find it in the Pikachu pack instead, but have you tried replacing the Ponyta/Rapidash line with Growlith/Arcanine EX? It provides another great target for Moltres when you aren't finding your Charizard line. Downside is it takes longer to set up as a 3 energy attacker. Full disclosure, I have no idea if this works. I don't have the Arcanine EXs, just figured I'd see if you (or anyone else) had.
I started like this but I feel is too slow (unless you are a God flipping coins) and unnecessary greedy if you are already that good flipping coins Charizard can win any match by itself. I am not even sure if you need any other pokemon line it hurts your consistency with your pokeballs but I might be wrong.
You don't want multiple 3 energy attackers in most decks IMO. Basically means you aren't a functional deck without Moltres to start.
you get a free copy of each trainer card through the tutorial as well.
I lost my first match against the AI solo mode moltres charizard battle because it hit 3 heads on moltres twice in a row. I think this is where all of the ladder moltres luck must have gone!
Epic kid
He's pretty great.
Are you playing random players or are you receiving their player code and becoming friends first? I've been playing for a couple days now and can't seem to figure out how to play live people?
bro wut “battle” and then “ random battle” how have you not figured that out yet😂
are you level 3 yet ?
Are you somehow playing a sketchy Chinese version pokemon games that you saw from an ads with multiple copyrights? Lmao
@@ChipCrisper Get to level 3 first maybe
@@kinoshkiwa 😂
Se ve la pantalla cortada? :( es mejor ver tu mano y las energías cuando las vas añadiendo a los poke
The screen is shuffled a small bit to let the game board be bigger, yes. You can see my hand and all relevant information.
Is it pay to win?
You can pay to get cards faster if that is what you mean. Doesn't look like F2P are locked out of getting any game pieces, though.
@@HooglandiaPocket So it’s pay to win faster 😁
I don't think it is. You can pay to get decks faster but you can still build any deck you want eventually It's not going to be a competitive game with a rank mode like TCG Live. If you are paying for this game hoping it's going to be competitive you will be disappointed. It's a pack simulator with casual battling. The cards are intentionally bad. I don't think they will change it.
It’s alternatively, it’s reroll a bunch to win faster.
@@RaymondYoung-f5i A pack simulator? Sounds boring 🥺
