19:58 I remember buying lots of these back then. Crazy how much worth they are now. Probably still have all the empty tins laying around somewhere in a box.
Always hurts seeing all the tins/packs I opened up as a child being worth hundreds and thousands of dollars now. Worst part is back then I never kept them in sleeves and played with them a bunch…
I think it was supposed to be like that, you enjoyed your favorite pokemon cards/games as any kid is supposed to, I don't think thousands of dollars in value weight more than does unique experiences that won't repeat again. some kids didn't even had the means, so we were blessed, but I get what you say, I 2 wish I would had kept my charizads in mint conditions and not just give them away 😅
It's never too late. The merchandise being released this year will be worth the same as Flashfire today in the same amount of time. It's why sealed merch is so good to collect.
It's very interesting to watch you open all those metal boxes that keep our eyes glued to the screen as those really look like treasure chests for me.... I thought $50 box would do.... Always love watching these videos...
It feels so nostalgic to see Diamond & Pearl packs getting opened and see the cards. I have pulled so many of those cards, so I recognize them every time. Those sets were the ones that were new when I started collecting Pokémon cards. I grew up with Gen 3 and Gen 4
I also gotta say for the value that 50 dollar tin was complete fire not only an insane promo to go with it but seriously that rainbow rare Flygon GX was outstanding
Hey Pokérev, I have a suggestion for the next video like this! Instead of going by the best/most valuable pulls, why not calculate the profit/loss from the tin? As tins older and more expensive tend to have good hits/chase cards in the sets inside, you should calculate (price of product - pulls = $ lost or gained) so as to balance the tins. $1 packs ARE definitely cheaper but usually have Low-value cards inside while hidden fates or cosmic eclipse ARE more expensive but have great chase cards to go for. Just a suggestion for another video. thanks!
Thank you for being such a blessing of a person to watch. I’ve got a little girl coming next week and this has been a beautiful break in my stress by just enjoying some nostalgia. Thank you so much.
I cant wait to see him open something more like this.He adds good effort to his videos. One day you will reach 2 million subs, good luck on reaching 2 mill
I’m watching old videos to catch up from when I took a break from social media and when you opened the Xerneas tin that hit me with a wave of nostalgia I remember being I think 12 or 13 idk anymore opening like 2 of those tins feeling like I was the coolest kid ever!
As always I’m going to stick with my gut decision in any of these money range videos. I believe the best pulls are going to be in the middle, like the $300-$600 range. Your videos are very entertaining and is motivation to keep collecting❤️
It’s so cool seeing what’s inside of the old school tins! I still have an empty infernape Lv. X tin from my childhood that I store my cards in! Why did I not keep it sealed….
Hi! Loved the stream yesterday. So nice to see you live in the Pokecave just one week after the birth of your third child. I can only imagine how busy your life is right now. Just making time for us all. You're a legend. And thanks for another super entertaining video. For today Im gonna guess at the beginning of this video that the best pulls will come out of the $300 tin. Just in the middle of the 10 - 1000 tins. See you next vid!
I thought the $1000 tin was gonna be the best. But after seeing the pulls… yo… that mewtwo tag team tin was legit haha.. recently got into Pokémon with my daughter, and we love watching your openings. Maybe we can get that charizard tin lol. 🤞🏻
It’s always those lower tier tins that give the more bauble ones a run for their money! Lol awesome video, always so stoked to see what content you’re gonna put out next bro! 🔥🔥🔥
Love tins for the added mystery of what’s inside and the ease of storing them. Actually went and bought all three of the power partnership tins this week myself. So was happy to watch you open yours.
When I gave all my old cards away years ago I kept one card, the Suicune from the $1000 tin! Itake been lost for probably almost 10 years:( it’s super nostalgic to see the tin again!
That was a really good opening I’ve always loved seeing tins getting opened up. Keep up the good work. Congratulations you and your wife on the new baby.
awesome video like always but its mind boggling how out of touch with reality these prices are for these cards. some of those sets are barely over 10yrs old. Spending 1k to get 100 in value is crazy lol
I remember when these first came to the states and were sold at the dollar store. I happened to “cough” borrow a pack without paying. Mind you I was like 9-10. Opened the pack in the back of the car with my entire family going to dinner together… a freaking first gen Charizard. I $h!t you not… Got all giddy and showed my brothers and my Dad asked me how I got the cards because I didn’t even ask for anything in the store. He figured me out and took it from me. Put it on his dresser by his cologne and gum that id also take every morning before school. Spring cleaning came around, he tossed it. A couple years back I told him what that cards worth now. He asked me if we wanted to take a 9 hour drive back to our childhood home, and “tear the son of b apart to find it” 😂 Sorry for the life story. Just love Pokémon
You gave me major nostalgia with the diamond and pearl tin since I got the base set diamond and pearl empoleon lv.x chase out of the first pack of diamond and pearl cards I ever got when I was visiting my dad when I was 9, although I didn't understand how value worked back than so I wrote do not touch on the back, which ruined it's value. On top of that my friends older brother went with us to one of the local tournaments when I played and he got a pack of mysterious treasures with the lucario lv.x and gave it to me since he wasn't into pokemon, thankfully I was older and didn't mark that one.
Wow never seen these tins stopped collecting after the original set and only got back in to it a couple of months ago so it's cool to see what I missed 👍🔥🔥🔥

This is awesome
The $50 rainbow flygon GX was insane!
It was 15
I gotta say, for the value that 50$ tin was complete fire. not only an insane promo to go with it, but that Flygon GX rainbow for sure is hard to beat
p
same
I bought that tin in Walmart once for 25$ now the mewtwo tag team is 25$
@@TFatSon I did too and then traded it away. Didnt realize how valuable it would become lol *facepalm*
Nah
It feels so nostalgic to see Diamond & Pearl packs getting opened and see the cards. I have pulled so many of those cards, so I recognize them every time. Those sets were the ones that were new when I started collecting Pokémon cards. I grew up with Gen 3 and Gen 4
The exact same feeling for me haha
It’s really nostalgic for me because diamond and pearl was my first ever set, it’s the era that really got me into Pokémon!
Same here man
same man shit is crazy
I remember the Lv. X was a big thing when the first card sets of Diamond and Pearl came out. What an Era of amazing card sets
I also gotta say for the value that 50 dollar tin was complete fire not only an insane promo to go with it but seriously that rainbow rare Flygon GX was outstanding
Its crazy to see the prices go up so much, I opened the blaziken tin when it first came out.
Seriously lol. I remember buying these cause they were only $20 and now theyre expensive af lol
That 200$ tin was fire, probably my favorite one.
It's wild to see the 50$ tin get better pulls then some of the higher end ones, I had hope the 10$ tin would somehow pull it off
I feel like those Tag Team tins have crazy pull rates. When I got one, I pulled a rainbow Dialga, and you got a rainbow Flygon.
Charizard, Blastoise blast. Venusaur.❤😊
I think the $1000 tin will win because for that high price its probably an older set where 1 pull can be worth thousands!
That $50 tin was dope. It was cool to see the Heart Gold Soul Silver packs though. Legendary Treasures was awesome too!
That $50 tin is absolutely the way to go
True
Great video as always! Can’t believe the pulls, especially on the Lowe valued tins
Pulling for the $10 tin! The pulls always come where you least expect!
That evolutions was fire
You are the embodiment of all that makes me happy. The energy, the cards, the way you do your videos. It’s all great.
Agreed, love the genuine energy!

e.g. profit/loss for $10 tin:
Cost - Value of cards = Result
(Negative means profit)
$10 - $2 = $8 (so $8 loss)

@@MiKeWaSoUsKi-sh7lr sure bout that 😂
He lost money on all the tins though.
I can’t believe you paid $1,000 for one tin?!!!
Absolutely amazing to think that these were all around the same price when they were initially released. Also, that Noctowl was beautiful
That Flygon GX Rainbow was BEAUTIFUL. Hard to beat. Honestly a great episode, loved it man!
100

I think that the $200 tin would have some of the best pulls in the competition
🎉🎉1000🤩🥳
My main attention to opening packs was the XY Era but I can't believe how much value they are now
This is amazing!!! $50 had some surprising pulls. Pokémon is so random in the best way
Mu. Mewtwo.
Rainbow Pikachu
Loved the video Rev xD Guessing the $1,000 tin has the coolest stuff in it xD
I'll go with the 200 dollar tin, feeling good about it!
Wonder which one would be the best one? 🤔
I’ve never seen any of these tins so this video hit different haha! Thanks Rev for the opening bro!
As always I’m going to stick with my gut decision in any of these money range videos. I believe the best pulls are going to be in the middle, like the $300-$600 range. Your videos are very entertaining and is motivation to keep collecting❤️

That $300 tin was pretty good. The Cinccino artwork was insane, not to mention it was followed by its pre evolution
I thought the $1000 tin was gonna be the best. But after seeing the pulls… yo… that mewtwo tag team tin was legit haha.. recently got into Pokémon with my daughter, and we love watching your openings. Maybe we can get that charizard tin lol. 🤞🏻
Just crazy how you open so many products that we have never seen Thanks Nick.

It’s always those lower tier tins that give the more bauble ones a run for their money! Lol awesome video, always so stoked to see what content you’re gonna put out next bro! 🔥🔥🔥
the $50 pack took the win because of that Mewtwo and mew tag team
Flygon GX Rainbow was BEAUTIFUL. Hard to beat.
The deoxys was definetly my favorite just because i never seen these cards before and they look so good!! Keep up the good content Rev!! 🔥🔥
Gonna go with the 200$ tin, really looking forward to see the different tins and different packs in this video!
Loving these kinds of openings. It feels like the low mid tiers usually win but so nice seeing those old cards
That second tin was heat, love tag team cards!!!
Love tins for the added mystery of what’s inside and the ease of storing them. Actually went and bought all three of the power partnership tins this week myself. So was happy to watch you open yours.
Your luck dude, I wish I had half of it lol. The 50 dollar tin got me on my feet for a minute. Love your videos keep at it, I'll keep watching.
I think the 600 dollar tin will win, but I feel like the 1,000 will have a banger promo card, keep up the great work Rev.
I feel like the 10 dollar one is going to be the best because more expensive isnt always the best and also I LOVE DRAGONITE
50$ one will win 🎉🎉
amazing video! Nice pulls aswell!
That was real! Was extremely exciting too watch these bad boys get opened.
I think the second was the most great one, but i do like vintage packs!
$1000 tin is gonna crush everything else, I have a great feeling about it
Those heart gold soul silver undaunted, and platinum areceus looks pretty promising. The 1k$ tin is what I think would win.😃
The mid tier tins seem to give the best pulls. Going with the middle tin!
When I gave all my old cards away years ago I kept one card, the Suicune from the $1000 tin! Itake been lost for probably almost 10 years:( it’s super nostalgic to see the tin again!
I’m guessing somewhere in the $100 range- that’s usually what ends up winning.
Love ur videos- keep up the great content 👍
I love these videos keep it up
Only only pokerev can make long video fun
TRUE I DID NOT NOTICE THE TIME

awesome video like always but its mind boggling how out of touch with reality these prices are for these cards. some of those sets are barely over 10yrs old. Spending 1k to get 100 in value is crazy lol
Gambling will do that lol
I think the most expensive tin could potentially have the best pulls, but if tins are based on timelines, probably the $600
Loving the opening, just found a tray of series 7 pokeballs at the local supermarket, £14 for 2 original run vivid and a cosmic boom
Relay cheap tin for great
