Thanks for featuring the Warhawk Air Museum!! It is truly an incredible place and must be seen to be appreciated. As a member of the museum, I am honored that you chose to spotlight this special place!
Garret that is very kind of you to say. Thanks for taking the time to comment. The crew and I really enjoyed filming at the museum and meeting the folks that run it. They are a special group of people.
Thanks for watching. The Warhawk is a wonderful place to visit. I truly can't wait to go back. I appreciate the comment and hope you find other interesting content on our channel.
@@I_am_Diogenes I never visited the Caldwell museum, but from what I understand the Nampa location is much bigger. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I hope you find more content you like on our channel.
I live here in idaho and this is one of my favorite museums to visit!!! If you ever get the chance, you should come down when they do the yearly warbird roundup uts a must watch event!!!!
I wish my grandfather was alive to watch this. He was a cook in ww2 in the navy and i think he would love to hear that people believe his service mattered. I know he was upset that he couldn't fight due to sight issues.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I hope you enjoyed the episode. The Glider Pilots Association reports the following information: Throughout India and Burma between January 9th 1944 and the 23rd of April 1945, out of a total number of 415 sortie about 194 CG-4A gliders were recovered. No gliders were recovered from the Sicily operation (9 July 1943), the invasion of southern France (15 August 1944) nor Bastogne (26 - 27 December 1944). ww2gp.org
@@Idahoguy10157according to WW2talk and other sources 97 percent of the gliders used by American forces in the Normandy landings were left to rot in narrow pastures in which they landed. It just wasn’t a priority for us and a lack of qualified crews according to some research. Again, thanks for watching and commenting

Good video. I live in Nampa Idaho just a mile away and enjoy watching the P-40, P-51 and other warbirds when they come into town flying over my home.
I am happy you enjoyed it and took the time to leave a comment. Thank you.
Well done, Greg!
