Thanks for sharing. I live in Ohio where rusty vehicles live. I installed the RAS on my 2006 tundra but I was very concerned about how the RAS would hold up through the winters. Glad to see yours is hold up great!
Yup, I just spray it with Fluid Film every year before winter.
Just came across your video. I just put RAS in my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Custom yesterday Dec 26, 2022. It was very simple to install these. I just wanted to be prepared incase I tow heavy within my trucks capabilities.
It's a fantastic product!
Did you notice a difference in ride quality unloaded and under acceleration?
@@AnthonyJ350 since it's only been one day, I haven't had enough seat time in the truck yet. I'll have to give more time. My rear only went up 1/2". I only got the standard duty spring.

@@AnthonyJ350 I've had a little more time now pulling my trailer. It can weigh between 5k-8k lbs depending how much water I have in my 525 gallon tank. It definitely makes a difference. Especially with the bouncing. Seems to absorb it better. Even driving without a load, the backend seems to be better planted. Epically when hitting the bumps.
I definitely need to try these cause my ‘05 Ram bounces like a 3 year old on pixie sticks!
These, fresh Bilstein shocks and Timbren load cushions are a great combo.

I have had the roadmaster on my e250 for two years and 25k miles. I have noticed very little ride quality improvement. In fact the I have tried three times to solve the problem the roadmaster has created. Their is a vertical tab that punctures my rear gas tank filler hose. I give up!
Weird I'd have to see a picture or video. Are your shocks relatively new? And what setting are the Roadmasters?
@@AnthonyJ350 Shocks were six months old when I installed the roadmaster. I got the roadmaster in hope to lessen the sway on the van. I ground down the corner that was tearing into the fuel filler hose, it did not help. If the piece that goes over the rear eye was one inch longer. I would not have this problem. I have not towed since adding the roadmaster.

@@AnthonyJ350 Yea it's correct. I checked many times as with installation. I watched your video as a last ditch to see if it was my mistake. I traveling and don't have my floor jack with me, if I did I would have removed them sooner..
@@glennbeattie6172 Sorry to hear that. If sway is an issue as an alternative look into Helwig Bigwig sway bar add on and maybe some Timbrens. I have videos on both.
I’m planning on installing leveling lift kit on my truck, is this roadmaster totally separated from the lift kit?I’m also gonna be pulling a travel trailer in the future. Thanks
What do you mean separated from the lift kit? Are you installing a block in the rear?
Looking at the R.A.S. for a helper spring for a promaster van right now, it is sitting on yellow sumo springs, which are holding it up about and inch from stock, and there is no free suspension travel . When you roll over a bump, you fill that there is contact, and it is not that comfortable filling the hit of the sumo spring. Note that the sumo spring is doing its job, but there has to be something better than tbis.
Does anyone have feedback on using these setup on a RAM promaster van

Haven't tried it on that chassis yet. But we always like the performance on pickup trucks.
do the new ones work with lifting or lowering blocks?
It should since it would work without blocks. Best thing to do is to give them a call and tell them what your setup is.
You state you have the light duty, questioning if i should purchase a travel lite 770rsl with a dry weight of 1358 lbs and my 2012 F150 FX2 extended cab's payload is 1554 lbs. Which roadmaster would you suggest the light or heavy duty.
I would get their new heavy duty application for that. Is it going to be on the truck all the time? Also look into supplementing it with Timbrens

Did you reuse your factory U-Bolts? Also did you Torque the Bolts?
I did and torqued them to 90 ft/lbs (spec for my truck). The new design doesn't require taking the u-bolts off anymore. th-cam.com/video/r-_vxSYY1co/w-d-xo.html

@@AnthonyJ350 love them. Reliable. My standard mode on all of my trucks. It also makes the truck feel like it has IRS in addition to all of the other benefits
@@CarsandBikes Nice! I wish more people new about this product. Trucks and vans work so much better with them equipped.
@@AnthonyJ350 My S-10 has the xTreme Zq8 suspension. Add the RAS and some really sticky street legal race tires like R888 or RE71 and I have had some very surprised and puzzled reactions from my passengers as well as the cars trying to keep up or loose me on a freeway ramp. The grip is so scary that I feel that I will traction roll the truck.
When I haul dirt or firewood there is minimal handling compromises.
I am totally sold on the RAS.

Is this the light duty or heavy duty kit?
Light duty
If you put it on your truck right when you bought it, how can you compare before and after?
Typically you drive a new vehicle for a few days to get a feel how it drives.
