If you don't have to be ready when you are 18 years old then which metrics are they using to draft players in the NBA?This is a stupid debate. There is a reason why you are being drafted. You get drafted based on your talent and your ability to become a great player so, which metric is been used in this case for Bronny? Is it because of his father or is it because he is good. Unfortunately, he wasn't a real 5 star McD All American either. He was boosted without really being that great in high school. Then, the heart problem set him back. Once he got to full strength at USC, he was able to play a lot bcuz guys were hurt and he didn't play well. By the end of the season when the guys returned, he was not playing much bcuz he wasn't performing. He's not an NBA player right now. He may develop in a few years but he's not there now.

This is nepotism, its just that the talking heads dont want to admit it.
The kid is not ready and its clear. He suffered a cardiac arrest recently and averaged below 5 ppg.
Any other kid with that history is not getting drafted.

Probably not. Being his son is double edged sword. Helps get eyes on you but at the same time anything short of perfection and people call you a bust. I feel bad for the kid 😂

Gilbert memory is so skewed by bias imo
At 2:00 mark he talks about Eric Mussleman trusting recent 10 day comtract Earl Boykins more than him.
Says vs Denver right after signing EB in 02-03 ( he remembers this part perfect but not the next part )
Boykins played 23:56 in that Denver game
Arenas played 40:33 in same game
Arenas says in this vid that Boykins got "damn near all 48 min" and insinuates he was on bench most of game due to Mussleman trusting Earl more than GA.
