I’m assuming you also changed the center brake light. What do you recommend?
I put the 1000 lumen lights in my back-ups and in cargos in my 2019 F150 STX when I had it and let me tell you this video does zero justice on actually how bright those lights are. With up grade you turn your cargos into basically work/flood lights (you can do brain surgery in the back woods with these lights in the bed of your truck) coupled with the reverse light backing up at night is like backing in the day. If anyone is on the fence about these products do yourself a favor and buy all the LED upgrades from these guys..YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED this a solid company that has treated me right over all of my purchases from them. Just made another purchase for my girl's 2020 Tahoe for the 1000 lumens back-ups although they don't have a specific kit for her Tahoe I just used the bulb finder menu on their website.

H.R. do you have a kit with all the lights for the 18 & up F150? To me if you get rid of one halogen, you should get rid of them all. All morimoto lights front n back. Or would a mix of brands be your recommendation?
On my personal 2018 F150 I have Morimoto everything! Headlights, fog lights, tail lights. I like the look of the blacked out housings and LOVE the bright white DRL on the headlights. I recently installed the Xenon Depot license plate frame reverse light too, That thing is insane. -Chris W

Thats a bummer that they washed out that reverse cam! I wish we had a way around that, but until the camera quality improves for that turn signal this will be the result. Sorry about that!

This depends on your camera placement, on this truck there was none, on something like my Infiniti Q50 I have some but it isnt too bad!

I have a 2020 F150 Platinum, does it already have LED light above rear window and at license plate and back up lights?
some platinums come with the led conversion kit in the rear but not all. your taillights do have the led reverse light though. i’m not sure about the other lights
9:10 Do these aftermarket cargo lights interfere with the factory key fob (arming alarm after exiting)
They do not on this truck but we have seen some issues where they will.
It seems to be hit or miss which bulbs and which trucks will have these issues.
Good afternoon, I as well have the same issue, I thought I was the only one since I just literally installed the aftermarket cargo lights last night. I noticed I can NOT lock my truck until the cargo lights turn off because I believe it may be draining too much power, not sure. @headlight revolution do you have any suggestions to fixing this issue?
@@richardzamudio6 I like the brighter lights and I didn't want to pull them back out so now when I get out of the truck (without passengers) I just lock the doors (manually or with the remote) just before I close the door. You get the "double honk open-door-ajar warning" but as long as you have your keys in your hand you're "good" (don't lock your keys in the truck in other words when/if locking it manually)
Option 2: Get out and point remote at the rear seat backrest before walking away. (the locking control/alarm unit is located there)
I already tried installing in-line chokes and using copper shielding at he the 3rd light. Didn't help much. 😑
@@richardzamudio6 BTW the problem is RF noise from the LED bed lights (radio frequency noise) interfering with the outgoing RF signal from the remote/key fob.
@@HeadlightRevolution I simply got into the habit of locking my truck manually as I get out. (or lock with the remote and just learned to deal with the double-honk door ajar warning)
Will the license plate light work with the WeatherTech License Plate Cover?
I am honestly not sure if it will work with that, they are designed to work with the factory setup back there so that may cause issues. Sorry I dont have more information on this for you!

Unfortunately they will not fit with those OEM LEDs, you already have a great reverse light though with those taillights!

Why did you run the wires to the driver side and not the passenger light?
No reason in particular. You can run the wires to either light.

Will this set compatible with 2017 F-150 Xlt?
18-20 F-150 uses 7440 bulbs for reverse, and 15-17 F-150 uses 3156. These are the reverse bulbs you need: www.headlightrevolution.com/3156-1000lm-led-reverse-light-bulbs-LED.BUL.REVERSE.3156_2?quantity=1
I checked out the website and it’s more work trying to differentiate between each type of bulb that it should be. You need a different webpage designer.

They are 7” apart center to center.

Hey Chris, Just got my order today minus the XTR License Plate Light. I ordered two sets of the reverse lights and the lights do not fit the cargo lights! The hole in the lens bracket is way too small and the plug will not allow that size bulb to plug in. The cargo lights require the same size bulb as the third brake light in my 2020 F-150 XLT
I wonder if you were sent the wrong bulbs. I’m running the bulbs in the video in my cargo lights, they are insanely bright and work very well. Send us an email to sales@headlightrevolution.com and we will help figure everything out!
@@HeadlightRevolution Hey Bro, I know what happened. When Chris says a little spoiler alert he uses the same 1000lm Gtr lighting reverse lights in the cargo lights. I was so impressed with this whole set up I ordered them from the links provided. I only saw three links so with what Chris said about using the same bulb for both locations I ordered two sets of the reverse lights as well as the XTR license plate along with the tag lights. Well three or so weeks go by and I get my partial order and when I install the reverse lights and test they look great, then I move up to the cargo lights and they are completely different! Boy was I pissed, I'm thinking how the hell did he get these in there? I watched the video two more times before I looked at the links and saw the Show more option below the three links. When I clicked the show more the link for the correct bulb came up! Basically I screwed up. Being in my 60's I'm not a computer whiz, but Chris sure made it seem like they were the same bulbs when they are not.

With a plug being right there why not offer a plug in resister. No need to cut into wiring then.
Which product are you referring to? The only part in this video that isn't plug and play is the Xenon Depot reverse bar, which has to be wiring to the reverse wiring.
That reverse light didn’t look like it clicked good and tight in there.
Those have actually been updated since this video was released, and they have a much more reliable connector as well as collar on the LED bulb! Thanks for commenting!

I never us an impact for these jobs if u r going the wrong way u will crack the Lenze Fxxx or tighten u a 1/4 inch ratchet or hand screwdriver type don't b in a hurry take your time.
