Great how-to and evaluation video. Only advice I'd add; put some dielectric grease, aka bulb grease, in each socket, before installing new reverse lights. It will help keep moisture from corroding the socket/shorting out the new, more expensive, lights.
I have a 2016 F150 Lariet with the BLIS system. Really want to upgrade to the LED reverse bulbs. Why want the bulb you speak of work with the BLIS system? I'm having trouble finding any bulbs that state that they do work with the BLIS system.
The 2021 ford f150 xlt reverse lights are different, they are led,but not bright, I don't believe they are changeable, with out opening assembly .mine has a plate on the back where reverse socket would be .

Thank you, that is great advice! I usually do the same thing but missed that part in the video.
Thank you! The original ones from the factory are so dim.

Awesome video!
Tried them they suck
Gives you 2 blue spots.
Washes out all detail and only where the spots are
They are also way overpriced.
Any flickering?
None that I have noticed. Thanks for watching!

Interesting, thanks for this information. Factory backup bulbs need to be brighter in my opinion.
