Its called a magazine. Magazines hold the ammo inside a box internally with a spring and follower that pushes the bullets up as the bolt pushes the rounds into the chamber with the extractor pulling out spent shell casings. A clip is a piece of metal that you put bullets onto and you can put the metal piece onto an indention (such as the one on a mosin-nagant or mauser rifle) on the reciever in which you push the bullets down into the magazine or you have something called an en-bloc clip (used in such firearms as the mannlicher m.95, M1 Garand, or Italian Carcano Rifle) which you put inside the rifle’s magazine and it falls out the bottom or out the top once you have loaded or fired all the rounds. Gotta explain the difference here. I might educate some people here.

I'm not sure if anyone particularly cares, but the IMFDb does list certain airsoft models on the site. Alot of game devs take inspiration from airsoft guns in an effort to avoid copyright, so its not dumb for them to include this as it's not entirely based off the real deal.

The Carbine Rifle in GTA 5 is actually based off the Heckler and Koch HK416 D10RS. Just so you know. [Edit] also, for anyone that's mad that he said "coke" when saying "Heckler and Koch," that's the correct way to say it. H&K even said it themselves on their own website.

On their official site it is stated somewhere that the "American/English pronunciation" is "Coke", which is probably because most English speaking people have a hard time pronouncing it otherwise or something. The Carbine Rifle is more derivative of the HK416. There is a slightly larger dip between the buffer tube and the charging handle than the American AR would have.
The marksman rifle is closer to an EBR-14 then a Mini 30. Also they have stock adapters for guns to have a buffertube like pipe for AR stocks, look at the AK-12. Also most AR-15's come with adjustable sticks...from the factory
There is a difference between “having a heart attack” than just calling out that they messed up. The Infographics show just messes up way too much, you would expect better from a channel with such a huge following.

Btw when use attach a suppressor to any gun in game, 1) it's entirely too quiet. 2) with just two mags at full auto IRL your suppressor would practically melt off.
Depending on the gun it will jam, even more modern guns such as the M4A1 which it’s predecessor being the M16 series, it would still jam. At full auto with any gun the longer your burst of fire is the higher the chances are you jamming you gun, though jamming is uncommon in modern weapons, it is still possible.

The Carbine and Marksman Rifles are pretty basic setups, unless Info Graphs is located in California where adjustable stocks are seen as a bad thing. An AR15, M16 and M4 can all accept a fixed stocks or adjustable stocks. Because they are all the same rifles with minor differences.

Beretta 92 notoriously has its safety/decocker on the slide. Pistol in-game has a grip safety, making it more like a Taurus PT92.

The Carbine Rifle is modeled after the HK416, not the AR-15.
The MK2 variant is an AR-15.
The AP Pistol is now a real gun, it relates to the Glock G18 :D

@The Judge also I think that the mk2 combat MG is heavily based on the m249 with the barrel and barrel shroud of the stoner 63 not the m60
