Here is a review of my 1995 OHD Phantom 777CD 1/2HP DC belt drive garage door opener (finally!) This opener is set up as a chain drive but it would have originally came with the belt rail. Hope you enjoy!
Good video I actually learned a few things about my own garage door opener and I've had it about 20 years, lol. I was however hoping that you would have done a quick section on programming a new garage door opener for it The Originals have long since broke and I did reprogram one side about 10 years ago but now I need to do the other side and it's been about impossible for me to find the instructions on how to do it online, unfortunately I have the memory of a turnip so I don't remember how I did it all those years ago. Aside from that I love this opener it's been a real champ about 7 years ago I had to change the springs on one door because one of them broke besides that I've really had no problems with it at all.

@@LukeDoorMan oh wow hey thank you so much for the reply I wasn't expecting one and I really appreciate it! However for some reason my setup is super squirrely and took me about an hour and a half to finally get it ,so this is what happened,,, I have two 777CD's, I had two single button clickers that came with them, one for the left one for the right they broke a long time ago, I replaced them both with a single two-button Chamberlain model-klik5u. I needed a clicker to sync up my Hellcat to the door opener it would not connect directly and according to dodge you need to have a wireless Clicker to program the car (weird). So this is where the problems started, the left Phantom connected to button number one exactly how you said it should with no problems and this is where it gets odd ,the right side would not sync up to button two.. after about 7 Minutes of trying while balancing on a ladder that was entirely too small for what I was doing I decided to see if button one would sync up and it worked exactly how you said it should but unfortunately now I have one button working both doors at the same time only the doors were not synced up at the same time so one would open while the other would close after about another 5 or 6 minutes of my death-defying balancing act on the ladder I finally figured out how to erase the code from the right side opener! however the circus act was not yet over, the next 15 minutes or more was spent trying different button pressing combinations between the right side door learn button and the number two button on the clicker [ keep in mind that the Chamberlain also has a program button under the battery cover which was not needed to program the left side door], so to make a short story long I finally got it by a combination of pressing the learn button on the right side Phantom and the program button on the Chamberlain pressing the number two button three times then hitting the program button on the clicker again and that finally worked! Why the left side was so easy and worked like you said but the right side had a completely different set of rules I don't know I'm not sure if it's an issue with the Phantom or the Chamberlain but it was definitely weird! But either way thank you for trying to help I appreciate the reply and sorry this message was so long!lol.
@@mrtbonebones3823 those remotes do have the program button that you have to push before starting the program process, so it actually is kinda interesting that one of yours worked without pushing that button
Hi Luke what video quality settings on. Is it on 480p? The video looks just a little blurred.. not your fault. You may not realised it. If your cellphone has a 720p video setting that may help it. I like watching your videos. Keep it up 👌🙂
