    I would said relink is a jewel, a really good combat system but short but good story . It’s a very straight forward jrpg which none of your option will affect the ending of the story. And a farming post-game kind of like monster Hunter.
    For the music ,I think 80% of them are from their original web game.

      ~90% of the music you hear in Relink are original to the game, and there are 167 tracks in the 6 dics OST

    Relink combat and style in a FF world and setting?
    I would instant buy.
    FF16 did NOT feel like a FF game ot me whatsoever.

    16 with combat and party members you control like granblue would have been amazing

      FFXVI is amazing and I enjoyed it way more than Gran Blue. It was definitely missing more of the RPG elements though and if they added that it would have been a masterpiece.

    I think they are both great games, imo FF16 has enough RPG mechanics to be called a RPG, theres leveling, equipment and skill trees for each summon, and is an incredibly addictive and fun game to play, same with relink as well but yes relink definitely has deeper progression and RPG mechanics

    FF16 is not a JRPG ... and just focuses on the Summons and looking cool. Comparing the 2 doesn't seem fair. Two completely different types of games, unfortunately for FF16

    I still stand to this day that cinematics especially in boss battle wise FF 16 is the peak but I also tried GBFR my god I immediately imagined what if FF16 had this party system along with the combat.

    In FF16 you what kept you playing is the story and how powerful Clive will become. I mean if they allow you to change teammates like in FF7 Rebirth then yeah you will have a RPG. But FF16 is more of a story telling.

    I wish granblue's story wasn't so milquetoast. It's a really fun series with fun characters but I can never care more than a couple events whenever i try to play the gacha.
    Love draphs tho.
    FF16, as someone who has a big brother that is part of shaping how I am and what I like, hit incredibly close to home for me. ff16 with a little bit more polish on the world and quests would've made it the game specifically made for me kinda hahaha

    Relink story delivery is trash tho,
    You suddenly have butload of teammate, like wut?
    FF always focus on story delivery first, while the combat is depend on whatever the project they want

      100% agreed here. The story in Relink is garbage. I watched the entire anime before playing the game just to set the tone, but it did nothing for me. The combat is cool, but its almost 2 flashy for its own good and unless youve seen the anime the majority of those characters you will care nothing about. FFXVI stands on its own feet and I personally loved the combat system. It would have been great if they didnt just strip down the RPG elements of it.

    Square-enix is a very stubborn company. I mean....they still keep Final Fantasy 11 alive and it STILL requires a subscription. They are naturally stubborn.

    we get it bro you have a lot of time on your hands and want to grind for gear and manage inventories. some of us are so busy and only get a little game time here and there. FF16 allowed me to play a long and amazing story that made me feel like I how I did playing Asura's Wrath many years ago. I felt powerful, awesome, and engrossed in the story!

    Rackham's attack is a burst fire not a rapid attack. You burst fire and he flashes on a good execution that does the most damage.

    Why do I feel like you've got the tittle backwards? My biggest issue with ff16 is that you are only stuck with one melee weapon and can't even get multiple weapon skills for it. Aside from that ff16 is the better game overall even tho I love relink as well but it's story as an RPG was not that good

      @thelastmastergamer2846 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NhatNguyen-le3kz yes, combat made from the dmc combat director is generic. Well, first of all, it brings the concept of the different eikon abilities, then there's elemental burst, which allows for more combo opportunities. Like dude it's obvious you didn't even try to explore the combat, it has a training mode for a reason, you can create and explore crazy combos, mix ups, techs, it has a built in footstool which is crazy I ain't about the list almost every unique combat oriented thing about ff16 since there's too much, and first action adventure game? Nah, too many to name but I'll name the most popular, such as Bayonetta and dmc, asuras wraith, spiderman, god of war,

    • @NhatNguyen-le3kz
      @NhatNguyen-le3kz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @thelastmastergamer2846 oh please. What u said literally weapon switching, skills switching, elements switching by other game. It exists in all action game like dmc or bayonet. Plus, some eikons are quite useless. And the combos are boring. There is no reward to try combos. Take a look at tale of arise. When do hit right combos, u activate special skills. Every action game has sth hooked. Not ff16.

    Granblue Relink was not in "development hell"
    - Started in 2015-16
    - Development reset in early 2019 because due to engine problems (also explain why PlatinumGames left)
    - The game had ~4 year of development. Slightly under average length
    - The 2023 delay is most definitely because of PlayStation 4
    - The game once again had ~4 years of development. The game was practically finished before, they just had to export stuff
    Granblue Versus Rising also did kinda the same thing. Arc System Works just remade the game from scratch for better netcode

      Game was literally announced 8 years ago and nothing definitive until barely a year ago with mostly rumors and very little concrete info..
      That is the DEFINITION of development hell.
      We very well may not have gotten the game at all given the circumstances.
      I'm glad we did

    • @Izanagi_
      @Izanagi_  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Those are good info on Relink's development background. I followed GBF news in general but admittedly I forgot most of it other than the dates and the fact that PlatinumGames left. Tried to do some research as well but can't find most of what you said.
      But well, the point is that the fact that the game was delayed multiple times was already the definition of development hell. For me and my friends, our expectations nosedive to "I would be glad whenever they released the game" in like 2020 because at that time Relink was nowhere to be seen.

      A game with 2 years of development but ground floor devs fucking dying from overwork fall under the category
      There was no such reports from Cygames, in fact, Cygames intentionally not giving a set release date until a year or so from release so they wouldnt crunch the people working on the game. They said this so the same 1 million plus people
