Subject vehicle is a 2009’ 2L, 5 speed M/T. 381,000 kilometres.
Note: The original lower rad hose was reinstalled, as detailed in the video the aftermarket part didn’t fit.
Note: The cooler integrated into the rads lower tank in not used with M/T variants.

Just greasing the alignment dowels. Keeps things from hanging up. Thx for watching 🍻

Hi, I have a Suzuki sx4 2008 manual transmission like yours, but my old radiator didn't have those smalls pipes going out in the lower part ( one straight and one in 90° ). Unfortunately the radiator I order didn't came with the small black cap like yours. my local car part didn't understand either and suggested me to weld a bolt inside the tube to prevent the leak because probably the black caps wouldn't be able to retain the pressure and will probably leak. Long story short, did you have a leak or any trouble with that?

Those lines are only used with an automatic transmission. A cooler is built into the lower radiator tank to cool the ATF. The caps are just plastic dust caps, just to keep dirt and debris out. You simply don’t use them for manual gearboxes. Thx for watching 🍻

@@TheGibby3340 I remember buying a long thin round handled spanner from snap on in the late 80's. He called it a Boeing spanner 👍. Still got it but it's a/f so doesn't see much use
