India to Canada Journey via Dubai | My Flight and Food Experience | Ameha Official

- Hello friends,
My journey started on 21 Dec 2022 from Delhi airport, my flight timing was 4:30 PM (IST). I reached Dubai at 7:00 PM (Dubai time) & 8:30 PM (Indian time). Then in Dubai, I was having a 6-hour 30 Min layover time which I spent resting and exploring Dubai airport. My next flight from Dubai to Toronto departure was on 22 Dec 2022 at 1:30 AM (Dubai time) & 3:00 AM (Indian time) which took almost 15 hours and reached Toronto on 22 Dec 2022 at 7:30 AM (Canada time). Then my 3rd flight was on the same day at 2:30PM from Toronto to Sault Ste. Marie rescheduled for the next day 23 Dec 2022 at 11:00 AM due to bad weather. The weather was so bad there that Air Canada canceled all the flights for two more days. So I was stuck at Brampton from 22 Dec 2022 to 25 Dec 2022. Luckily I have my cousin in Brampton and I spent three days at her home. On 25 Dec 2022, my flight time was 10:00 AM which was again rescheduled for 2:00 PM, So finally at 2:00 PM my flight flew to Sault Ste. Marie. That's how I reached my final destination with so much hassle.

Indigo airlines m time ki problm ton nhi ayi apko didi esa koi issue ton nhi hua like flight delay or something?
Hi, it was Air India not indigo. International flights are almost always on time. There are some issues in flight like multimedia not working etc. otherwise all good.
Apart from 23 kg ..2 luggage ..
We can carry 7 kb cabin beg, 5 kg laptop beg and 5-6 kg in ladies purse right...m i understood right from your video????
Hi Ashi, I shared my experience with Air India. Airline don't specify the weight for laptop bag and purse. Each airline has different luggage rules. Please confirm with your airlines about the weight limit. Some airlines (like Emirates Airline) only allow one bag in the cabin (e.g. Cabin bag or laptop bag). I travelled in Dec 2022 and from Jan 2023 luggage rules have been change. But ladies purse is still an exception. You can carry some stuff in purse but it must not look heavy otherwise they can check the weight of your purse. If your airline allow you to carry laptop bag too then it must have a laptop in it and you can carry other electronic items in that bag like charges, dryer, power bank, straightener etc. (They will not check the weight of your laptop).
Will my luggage be transferred from Air india to Air Canada on its own or do I need to again claim that in london airport(layover) and go for check-in in air canada?
Hi Jaskaran, when we have a ticket from one destination to another and we have a layover between then airline took all the responsibility of your luggage. You don't need to worry about your luggage even if you have another domestic flight from lets say Toronto to any where else in Canada (If you have a direct ticket to the location from India).

How much time earlier you enter in Canada like ..before your classes?

Hi Manpreet, yes you can enter Canada 1 month early from your classes. There was 21 days restriction going on in covid time. But now that restrictions is lifted.

Hi, I booked a PG room in advance from India by paying some min amount (Beware there are so much scams going on for rooms, jobs and so on) and Cab service was provided by my college. They picked me from airport and drop me at my PG.

There are so many websites (kijiji), fb college groups and local area fb groups for accommodation. Just search with your college name. I found this on my fb college group. Which is most trusted than other websites. Because you can confirm from other students which are already in that college or even in same PG or accommodation.

Hi Komal, They didn’t ask much. At Delhi airport they asked me about where I’m going, where I’ll stay, how much time I’m staying in canada and checked all the documents etc. but at Canada they just check my documents and asked me about my college and my course thats it.
