There are so many items in restriction list. Like medicine, liquid items, white color stuff etc. but if you are genuinely sending mix stuff to your family then one or two items not gonna make any trouble.

For clothes and utensils there is no any custom duty. Not sure about the electric items. If you are sending some in the clothes then may be its ok. Then no need to pay any customs duty.

Hi Ankur, no I didn’t fill any form at post office. I just write sender and receiver’s name address and phone number and they took one photocopy of sender’s aadhar card and paste it on the box itself there at post office. Box was in good condition not that bad.

Yes don’t worry, I send medicines too from India to Canada. Put medicines in black plastic bags and place in the cloths and put prescription in the box too. In case they want to check.

Hi, they always say that your parcel will be delivered in 2 weeks. But it takes good amount of time. Its will take around 3-4 weeks to deliver. Your parcel will be sitting on airport to be onboard for at least 2 weeks in india for sure. In that period of time you will not receive any update about your parcel. Otherwise you will get every notification on the activity of your parcel till delivery.

Hi, According to the law you just have to pay once for your parcel. It don't matter if your are sending it from India to Canada or vice versa. Just ask your sister for the payment receipt and show them that you already paid for this. If there is any electronic item then they can ask for the custom duty.

Hi Shivam, there is no specific instructions. Take a good quality box and make sure that your package is properly packed and secured. Wrap with cello tape all around the package so it can survive. Because we don’t know how they will handle our package.

Hi, if it’s a powder then there is 90% chances that your med will not be delivered. If it’s in tabs form then no worries. I send homeopathy meds ( white tabs & liquid) all the time with no issue.
Look buddy there are some restrictions on med and some other stuff but you can send if your meds are not that much. Just put in the black plastic bag and place in between you other stuff which you are sending along. Its your call to make.

Its a long procedure. After marriage you have to make a affidavit about the name change. Then register your marriage. With your marriage certificate change all the other documents e.g. Aadhar card, driving license, Bank account and passport etc. If you’re not planning to go abroad then its not an issue but if you’re planning to go abroad then main part comes that you have to change names on all your academic certificates too. Hi Veena, you can send anything in your package. The only items you can not send which are white powder like substance (eg. sugar, salt, any kind of flour etc). If you are sending liquid then be sure its fully tapped or packed properly to be safe from leakage.

We opted for regular service which took aprox 3 weeks. If you want your package fast you can go for speed. Speed takes 7-10 days.

You have to check which company provide service in USA. Like in canada “Canada Post” deliver your package when you send via “India Post” from india.

Hi, if it’s a powder then there is 90% chances that your med will not be delivered. If it’s in tabs form then no worries. I send homeopathy meds ( white tabs & liquid) all the time with no issue.

Look buddy there are some restrictions on med and some other stuff but you can send if your meds are not that much. Just put in the black plastic bag and place in between you other stuff which you are sending along. Its your call to make.

For your kind information these are so many Medicines are banned in canada or other countries which are easily available in india and we use those and even take them with us without telling the airline. Hi Gunjan, you are welcome. So many people asked this question already and so many told me that the delivery guy asking for money to deliver the package, which is wrong. You already paid full amount in india for the package. They can’t charge you for that. I heard this from the Toronto, Brampton and the nearby area. So say no to pay any money there in canada. They didn’t ask for the money from my wife.

Hi Sanjeevani, My husband didn’t change my name ( Surname ). He just changed address and added his name ( W/o ) to all my proofs e.g. Aadhar card, Driving license and Passport etc.

Its a long procedure. After marriage you have to make a affidavit about the name change. Then register your marriage. With your marriage certificate change all the other documents e.g. Aadhar card, driving license, Bank account and passport etc. If you’re not planning to go abroad then its not an issue but if you’re planning to go abroad then main part comes that you have to change names on all your academic certificates too. That was the main reason my husband didn’t changed my name.
As your friend changed full name then she has to make affidavit about the name change and has to put a advertisement in 2-3 local newspapers too, that she change full name after marriage.

Hi Prajna, with India Post you can send parcel up to 30kg (weight limit depends on city to city) which is more than enough according to me. If you want to send more than 30kg, you have to go for some private courier service.

Hi Aastha, they will show detail online if there is any activity of your package on the particular day. If your package is scheduled to transfer to next location after 5 days. They will not show any activity online. Check my video i have shown detail of my own package, check the gaps between days there.

@karryysworld hi, it will take time. If you checked my video till end I have shared all the details. Yes they will show you all the information till delivery. But have patience my parcel took around 3-4 weeks to deliver. Whenever your parcel reached canada then it will be delivered within 2-3 days.

Hi Veena, you can send anything in your package. The only items you can not send which are white powder like substance (eg. sugar, salt, any kind of flour etc). If you are sending liquid then be sure its fully tapped or packed properly to be safe from leakage.

Hi Pratham, Yes you can send electronic items too. Just to be safe side put electronic items in a black plastic bag and place in the center of the bag with clothes to prevent from damage.
