Toyota timing belts are insanely reliable too. My wife had a Highlander with 214k on it with the original timing belt. When I replaced it, it didn’t have a crack or anything wrong with it at all.

You’d be amazed at my 03 Accord coupe with a manual transmission. 157k on the clock and it’s in perfect shape. Under the hood is almost as clean as this tundra and all of the hardware still has its plating. Original clutch and all!
I have 2 corollas. A 1999 and 1997. Both are 5 speed manuals. The 1999 is my daily and has 400,000 miles, and the 1997 has 305,000. Both run great and burn no oil. No check engine lights or anything.
Such a beauty! A family friend pulled up in a 2001 Tacoma thing look brand new! Has 44k miles on it I asked if he’d sell it but no dice lol retired with multiple cars that never get driven all of them are 15+ years old with under 50k

I have an 2002 just changed the timing belt it had since they made the truck, the belt was starting to form weather cracks, it is supposed to be changed about every 80k and while your there change the water pump
Dodge + Toyota = Dodjyota... Dakota! The only thing I would trade my Dakota for would be, the exact same truck with a different body 😢 Same engine, same interior, same wheels... Toyota really had all the bases covered until they changed the body style to a true, full American-sized truck ✌
