Srk is a charismatic actor and personality he has his own style separate from big b and that's why he is most successful and best actor
Don't know about the original Don. All I know and like is SRK's version of Don. The coolest, smartest and handsomest criminal. We love SRK! 🇧🇳
I remember being a 6 year old visiting a water theme park in 2006 and they were blasting this song out on the speakers as we got in..apparently it was very popular I guess.
The body language of Big B in original cannot be matched by anyone. He could have easily become global film star during peak of his career. It is unfortunate west did not use him. His screen presence could have challenged the best of actors from around the world during 70's, 80's.
The body language of Amitabh Bachchan's Don also got him kiled I guess because Amitabh's Vijay dominates the runtime of Don (1978) and even after claiming it's not difficult to catch Don, it is impossible, Amitabh's Don dies within the first half hour and the rest of the film is about Vijay proving his innocence. SRK's Don is way more sinister, dangerous and psychopathic than Amitabh's Don which makes him a very different character. You can witness the psychpathic Don's attitude in Aaj ki Raat, Main Hoon Don, Zara Dil Ko, Dushman Mera, Hai Ye Maya. Remember that in Farhan Akhtar's Don, Don was singing and dancing on Khaike Paan, not Vijay. This is very important. My point is, the approach to style and attitude is very different among the two Dons. There have been many actors who played James Bond, Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, etc. That does not mean the newer actors don't respect the former actors or fans of newer actors do not respect the former iterations. Amitabh's Don is more like Godfather, Michael Corleone type character which SRK's Don is not. And SRK is already a global movie star.
I think srk made it so stylish & killer which so different & interesting as compared to amitabh ones
Also srk has much more charisma & charm than amitabh.

Only and only the legendary Sunidhi Chauhan could do justice to the original song. The remake was perfect in almost every aspect. The direction was a huge reason why the remake became so successful
I loved the original don more & find it hard 2 root 4 a villain.this song was sexy & kareena was looked hot.helen who was a vamp & a cabaret specialist brought another flavour 2 it.the other sing khaike paan was no fluke in the movie.it was iconic & vijay who is pretending 2 be sophisticated suave & ruthless is actually at heart a caring decent & desi guy who happens upon his banarasi community & is transported back 2 his roots & Roma sees him in his true element.of course in the remake vijay is killed & don is alive.so in srks don it not as relevent 2 the character.although the original don was an ode 2 its time & its action & quality is dated it 4 me has more soul as good triumphs over evil as vijay sacrifices his own time & life selflessly 4 the future of someone else's kids.
Kareena for all her acting ability seems less vampish than helen. Helen as a vamp is certainly crazy lookin. Kareena brings an innocent hidden rage to the song but somehow it's hard to see srk seduced by her 😅
Helen was amazing...there still isn't anyone who can match her yet.

For me it's a very good remake song that does justice to original. Both in music, vocal and performances.
As a foreigner I didn't particularly like originality Don, Amitabh Bachchan has much better films for me.
Hritik-SRK are those actors who can effortlessly do a already iconic character in a remake & make them their own & iconic AGAIN!
(Famous examples: Agneepath, Don, Devdas & Vikram Vedha)
Imao some people still think we know don because of Amitabh Bachchan . Don has now become the SRK's character forever and it will remain his character like he made Devdas his character.
That's only for SRK stans. Amitabh Bacchan is and will forever be THE Don.

To everyone comparing the two actors and the characterization in the film, there has to be some appreciation for originality creative process. There is no remake without the original.
Let me tell you that SRK's Don is not a complete start to end remake of Amitabh Bachhan's Don. I don't want to tell u the difference because that will ruin all the fun but there is a MAJOR climax twist in SRK's don which was just the opposite of AB's that's why the audience loved SRK's don and it has a sequel to it too. Don2 is much more slick and is on a bigger scale than Don. And not to mention, SRK killed it!!

This one is very boring. Same song from the original Don is just fantastic.Kareena is nowhere near Helen. And the sharpness,alertness attitude of DON shown by Mr Bachhan in the song is exceptional.Also the original Singing by Lata Mangeshkar, Music By kalyanji Anandji is top notch. That original song has ruled Indian Audience over the decades .

Kareena Kapoor is such a clumsy person ... her dance is so embarrassingly bad!! Helen was legendary in this performance!! Shahrukh also looks ridiculous and is no patch on Amitabh!!
